Now we get to know what actually happened. Set in the spring of Blaine's junior year at Dalton, about 6 months before 'Baby I'm Howlin' for You'. Blaine finished his junior year by home schooling and started at McKinley just a few days into the start of his senior year, after getting all his paperwork approved and such. But Kurt flips the switch andBlaine needs to safeword aftera slightly painful, slightly hilarious outcome.Written to compliment (lady--divine.tumblr.com/post/121908295026/klaine-one-shot-sudden-rated-m) Sudden, part of my series that delves into the life of Dom Kurt and his sub Blaine, confronted with certain situations that I feel more realistically reflect Dom/sub life. This one was inspired by fics I read where a sub uses a safeword and it turns into this big, tragic thing -hearts are broken, people feel inadequate, and doubts almost tearthe Dom/sub coupleapart (*sob*). In real life,a safeword does not equate to failure on either the Dom or sub's part. It is a form of communication, something that either sub or Dom can use if something, anything, in a scene doesn't go right. Yes, it can be used when someone gets hurt, but can also be used when something is uncomfortable, or triggering, or sometimes even downright boring. Here we see Blaine safeword, and then the two of them deal with it, talk it over, decide on a change in the game play, but no one has failed the other.

Camp Brotherhood
This tiny liberal arts school takes its bonding time very seriously. So much so that the seniors take it upon themselves to schedule an annual camping trip/ initiation for the incoming freshmen. For freshman, Kurt, the whole ritual is strange yet exciting. However, junior Blaine might be the one who learns the most this summer. Straight?!blaine. Camp Brotherhood - Founded in 1999, Camp Brotherhood is a continuing tradition for visual arts majors of Dalton University. No other campuses offer this opportunity, nor is it available for any other majors. For five weeks, the male artists live in cabins located along scenic Lake Michigan, not far from Camp Sisterhood. Ample time is dedicated to their craft, however, the main focus of the getaway is for bonding. At Dalton University, we treat our fellow art majors like family. We take this time out of our summer to remind ourselves of that, as well as welcome our new members joining the freshman class. Camp Brotherhood is a tradition that represents friendship and will hopefully continue on in the future of Dalton.
