"Rachel, go have fun. Mingle. We are fine" Blaine says.

"Are you sure?" Rachel asks concerned.

"For the 10th time, yes. Now go" Kurt says as he literally pushes Rachel away from them.

Rachel was having a small get together with the cast of Wicked, which she was playing the role of Elphaba. She invited everyone to her house and asked Kurt and Blaine to come to help her prepare and ultimately meet everyone she had been talking about all through her rehearsals.

She just had one worry on her mind and that was Brooklyn. Brooklyn was her daughter and she loved her to pieces. But since she was a single mom, she always had a hard time leaving her alone.

"But, I dont want it to be a burden" Rachel says to Kurt as he is still pushing her.

"Rachel" Kurt says as he turns her around to face him. "It is no burden at all. We love Brook and love to spend this opportunity to love on her more. Plus, this gives you a break Rach. Seize it"

"Alright. Im going. Brook, can I get a hug?" Rachel asks.

Snapping her mind out of her patty-cake game with Blaine, Brooklyn rushes up to Rachel.

"I love you Mama" Brookyln says as she wraps her tiny arms around Rachels leg.

Rachel then picks Brooklyn up and encases her in a long embrace. After a long time, Brooklyn finally pipes up. "Mama, youre just going outside"

"Yes. I know. Ok, ok, Im going" Rachel says as she puts Brooklyn down. "Love you sweetie"

"Love you too Mama" Brooklyn says really fast as she runs back over to Blaine to continue their game.

Rachel then looks at Kurt and gives her a reassuring smile as she reluctantly walks away. Kurt then sits down next to Blaine and Brooklyns little game.

Eventually, Kurt remembered something. "Hey Brookie, I forgot about your present" Kurt says.

Brooklyn stops clapping as she looks at Kurt with wide eyes. "What is it Uncle Kurt?" Brooklyn begs.

"Here, Ill go get it" Kurt says as he stands up and walks over to his bag. He pulls out something green and hides it behind his back. "Ok sweetie, you ready?" Kurt asks.

"Ya!" Brooklyn screams. Kurt pulls out a small, sewed hat in the shape of an owl with small yellow eyes.

"I made it with thinking of you since your Uncle Blaine here has this weird thing of calling you Birdy" Kurt says as he smacks Blaines arm.

"Hey!" Blaine yells as he rubs his arm. "I like brids, ok."

Kurt hands Brooklyn the hat. She quickly snatches it up she looks at it in her hands. then she plops it onto her head with an excited look on her face.

"Thank you Uncle Kurt!" Brooklyn says as she embraces him.

"No problem sweetie!" Kurt replies

"I want a picture youtwo!" Blaine says as he pulls out his phone.

"Whoa mister. You have to be int his too." Kurt says.

"Fine." Blaine replies

Blaine switches his phone to the front camera as he crouches down next to Brooklyn.

"Ok everybody say cheee!" Blaine says.

"Cheese!" Blaine and Brooklyn scream as Kurt just rolls his eyes.

In the other room around the corner, Rachel peeped her head out of the doorway and saw the whole scene. she left the area with a huge grin on her face.
