Kurt has won his neighborhood's Christmas light contest nine years in a row...but he won't win a tenth if Blaine has anything to say about - or, as the title suggest, the year an Elf set Kurt's house on fire.Okay, so this started yesterday and turned into a monster. Kurt is spending a beautiful morning walking through the park, reminiscing with his father and his stepbrother, except he's not. He's putting off something important. Something that just can't wait.Written for the Klaine Advent Prompt - day. Warning for angst and character death. Inspired by mine and my husband's least favorite Scrubs moment.

Written for the Klaine Advent Drabble Challenge prompt 'day' and gives a nod to the Hummel Holidays prompt 'movies'.

Part of the Klaine Advent 2015 Challenge, after I got messages from two anons on tumblr asking me to participate. The stories in this set are canon compliant, falling in some vague future in the Glee timeline.

New York hasn't been the dream Blaine had expected upon leaving Dalton, so he needs to be accepted into the Winter Showcase. If only Kurt Hummel weren't so distracting.
Klaine Advent 2015
Guess what, I'm doing the klaineadvent. Only short stuff tho. Unbeta'd, just came up with them on the spot. What happens the day after Kurt and Blaine go to Scandals, when Kurt's dad and Blaine's brother discover their fake I.D.s.Written for the Klaine Advent Drabble Day Two Prompt 'Broadway', and inspired by a prompt I saw floating around tumblr a while ago. (Note - I know it will seem Broadway light considering that that's the prompt and I only really mention it in one sentence, but this was supposed to go a different way, and I couldn't make it work, but it started around the line - "Good," Burt says. "Because you don't want anything standing in your way on your road to Broadway, including an arrest record." And since I put a bunch of work into it, Imma gonna keep it xD) Happens sometime during episode 3x05 "The First Time".
For as Long as We Have
Blaine comes home from picking up lunch to find his husband reading a copy of the Reader's Digest, and he's in tears.Written for the Klaine Advent Drabble prompt "anniversary", slightly in response to those future fics where one character is older, their significant other already gone, and they're celebrating an anniversary alone. It's a little sad, but it gets cute at the end. Warning for a vague reference to Finn.
