A Song of Love and Dreams
Medieval AU, Game of Thrones/ A Song of Ice and Fire crossover. Sebastian Smythe, the favorite son of one of the most powerful men of Westeros, is turning 17 and to celebrate, his father decides to throw a 10 days Tourney inviting the big names of the Seven Kingdoms, including Quinn Fabray the future queen and daughter of Smythe's political enemy, her bastard sister Santana Sand, Lord Pierce and his seven wild daughters, Lord Dalton and his precious Warblers - a group that Sebastian intends to be a part of. The Warblers charismatic and charming leader, Blaine Anderson, not only draws the attention of Sebastian, but also of Kurt Hummel, Smythe's personal servant who dreams of a life of art and freedom far away from there.
Author's Notes: First I would like to thank my lovely and awesome friend (http://auld-langsyne.tumblr.com/) Ito who is my beta not only in this fic but in life <3. Second, rhe story notes: This world is not really the world of ASOIAF for two simple reasons: First, GRRM's world is too ruthless and violent for something so positive, silly and full of hope that is Glee. Second, I know I can't properly write GRRM characters and world. It's just beyond my abilities and time right now. If I would venture into it, I would need some years to organize everything and re-read the books 6 more times. So, what I did was take GRRM's world and make a future version of it where everything has a similar structure but completely different names, characters and, of course, with a peaceful and prosper Westeros. If you've never read or watched GoT/ASOIAF, you won't have any problems understanding what's happening. If you had read the books, you will see there are many similarities but also, absurd differences. I hope you will still enjoy. I also put a lot of phrases from ASOIAF and giggle like an idiot every time that happens. There are a lot of warnings, but, as I said, they will be specified by chapter. I still need to warn that I toned down the blood, gore, rape and violence of ASOIAF but I couldn't make a politically correct world or one even close to it, if I would, it wouldn't be ASOIAF. So, it will have misogyny, prejudice, slurs, twisted moralities, rape, non-con, dub-con. And nothing is black or white. Loads of shades of grey. Also, extremely NC-17 on language and graphic sex (I think I won't put any graphic violence, can't see the need, but, if it comes, you are warned). The fic is focused on klaine with a dash of other parings: Samcedes, Brittana, Sebastian/David, Sebastian/random warblers, Sebastian/random people, Nick/Jeff, and a nice Fuinnberry triangle (I know, I know, but, bare with me) I think that is all =)
