“Kurt, Kurt wait up!” Blaine said running after his boyfriend in the parking lot.

“Hey Blaine, what’s going on? I told you I was skipping study hall today to go home and study,” Kurt said

“Yeah, yeah I know” Blaine replied catching his breath, “But I wanted to know if you wanted to maybe go to Breadstix for dinner?”

“Blaine, I have my Biology exam tomorrow and 3 papers due before Friday. I really can’t” Kurt replied. Blaine was disappointed, he had barely seen his boyfriend in the last month because exams time has come at WMHS and Kurt was freaking out about maintaining his average.

“I guess I could take a little break, but if I plan to do that then I got to get home now for you to pick me up at um 7? Kurt said kissing his boyfriends cheek and head into his car and drove off.

“7” Blaine whispered before he headed back into the school. He could not stop thinking about Kurt. Kurt was running on very little sleep. Blaine did not even know if Kurt had been eating, this past month had been study study study, and he respected that but he really needed to get his boyfriend away from the books before he burned out. There was no doubt that Kurt already knew all of this information. The senior biology class at WMHS is the same curriculum as the junior one at Dalton. But Kurt was always the type to study the information, even if he knew it.

At 6:55pm Blaine pulled into the Hummel-Hudson driveway and texted Kurt that he was here. When he got no reply he was not surprised, Kurt was probably doing his hair. So Blaine got out of the car and rang the doorbell. Finn answered the door, “Hey dude, Kurt’s upstairs.” Finn answered mouth full of something. Blaine went up the stairs turned left to his boyfriend’s bedroom and knocked on the door. When he got no replay again Blaine opened the door and saw Kurt asleep with his textbook over his chest and his study notes sprawled all over the bed.  Blaine sighed but couldn’t help but smile at how adorable his boyfriend looked. Blaine slowly closed the door and began to pick up the study notes and put them in order according to the colour coded numerical code Kurt had put on the top left corner of each of the sheets. “Typical” Blaine whispered. He then placed the notes on Kurt’s desk and he then he picked up the thick biology textbook and closed in on the table beside Kurt. He then realised Kurt was wearing Blaine’s Dalton sweater “so that is where that went” Blaine thought as he took off his shoes and sat at the end of Kurt’s bed and watched his boyfriend sleep.

At around 8pm Kurt woke up freaking out, “Oh my god I fell asleep, I have to study and-“Kurt was cut off by his shock of seeing Blaine starring at him.

“Oh shit Blaine we had a date and-“He was cut off once again but this time by Blaine’s lips on his. “it’s alright why don’t we turn it into a study date, or...” Blaine winked

“Actually, I am quite hungry, and I don’t think my brain can handle anymore of theses genetic mutations.” Kurt said pointing to his textbook on his side table before standing up from his bed. “Give me a few minutes and we can head out” he said as he entered his closet, picking a few things and then went into the bathroom. Ten minutes later Kurt came out in a black top, beige blazer, black knee high boots and these purple skin tight jeans he had never worn before. Kurt twirled around, grabbed Blaine’s hand and they headed out.
