“Do you have the time?” Blaine’s eyes focused on Kurt’s face waiting for him to respond.
“Oh,” He pulled his sleeve up revealing his watch. “Em, it’s half twelve.” He glanced up and noticed Blaine’s eyebrows creased in the middle.
“What was that on your arm, Kurt?” A hint of concern was present in his voice. Kurt immediately knew what Blaine was referring to.
“My watch?” he laughed. He tried his best to look confused but Blaine was having none of it.
“Kurt.” He placed his hand on Kurt’s shoulder, causing them both to stop in their tracks. Blaine pulled him out of the busyness of the crowded street and into a quiet corner. Kurt’s eyes stared at the floor, unable to bring himself to look at Blaine’s face.
“What’s going on? This is serious you know” his shaky voice made Kurt’s stomach fill with guilt. Blaine placed a hand on the other boy’s cheek and gently turned his face so they were facing each other.
“How long?” Blaine’s eyes, oh god, his eyes were piercing into Kurt making him feel even guiltier. He couldn’t deal with this. Not now.
“No. Blaine. I-” Kurt’s voiced cracked and he returned his stare to the floor, closing them as he did. “It’s not what you think.” He wasn’t lying. Well, partly.
“And what do I think?” There was a long pause between the two before Blaine whispered “I know by your reaction Kurt. Your face, your eyes, they’re telling me everything I need to know.”
“No.” Kurt’s eyes were still glued closed.
“No?” Blaine’s voice was pleading. Kurt knew that Blaine didn’t want to be having this conversation either. “Does your dad know?”
“No.”
“Finn? A teacher?”
“No.”
“Kurt.”
“Look, Blaine, it’s really not what you think.” Kurt laughed and opened his eyes. “Seriously, I’ll show you my arms.” He rolled up both his sleeves to reveal both his arms and waved them frantically in the air.
“I’ve three scratches on my arm from a dog I tried to pet in the park.” Although Kurt seemed to be laughing, tears were dwelling in his eyes. Blaine grabbed Kurt’s right arm where the scratches were present and examined them closely.
“These were done by a blade.” There was no way to read his face. His expression appeared to be blank.
“No,” Kurt pulled his arm from his grip. “Seriously Blaine what would I be doing with a blade?”
“I bet if I checked the rest of your body we’d find out.” Kurt was left speechless and Blaine’s eyes watched Kurt as he crossed his arms over his stomach. He closed his eyes again leaving the tears escape. His thigh began throbbing reminding him of last night’s actions. Reminding him of the pain he felt. How worthless he is.
It wasn’t long before Kurt was sobbing loudly and gasping for air every few seconds. Blaine came close and wrapped his arms around Kurt, holding him.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t-”
“No, Blaine. Stop. You’re right. I’ve been doing things I’ve shouldn’t been doing. I should’ve talked to someone but I feel, I feel so pathetic. Everyone always expects me to be that brave, openly gay kid who won’t let anyone bring him down. But it hurts Blaine. It hurts. I can’t handle it. And now everything seems so hopeless right now. I’ve no future, no job, no Nyada. I feel like I’m stuck in this town forever, trapped. I find myself breaking down more often and I hate it. I hate everything. I need to escape-”
Kurt’s sobs were stopped by Blaine’s lips. The kiss was sweet and protecting. When Kurt pulled out he looked at Blaine in the eyes.
“I’m here.” Blaine choked. “I’m right here Kurt, and I’m here for you.” He pressed their foreheads together and gave a promising smile. His eyes were watery and red but filled with love. Love for Kurt. Love that he could never have dreamed of a year ago.
“Will you stop? For me? If you ever feel like you’re going to do it call me. Anytime. I’ll come over straight away. Promise me, please. I just, I don’t want to lose you”
“I promise.”

This was really good. I love that Blaine was willing to be there for Kurt and to let him know that he didn't want to lose him. I really liked how you showed that their love was enough to get them through and that they would be there for each other through it all. I look forward to reading your future stories.
