I hope you enjoyed my first fanfiction! I may write more if I get positive feed back because these are very fun to write. c:
Time seemed to move slower as Kurt waited for Blaines arrival. He promised Kurt he would come to New York to visit and to work on their Halloween costumes this year for the costume party Rachel and Kurt were throwing. Their costume last year were a hit, Snooki and the Situation. Even though the wig Kurt had to wear itched like crazy, they still had a good time. Kurt is usually the one to come up with the costume theme but Blaine insists that he should create this years. He said that he had a great idea that Kurt would love planned for them to wear at the party.
After ten more minutes of waiting and eating the candy for tomorrows party there was a knock on the door. Kurt smiled, already picturing Blaines face smiling back at me and rushed to the door. When he answered, Blaine took Kurt by surprise, he was dressed as a bottle of mustard with a lid hat sticking up on his head. Kurt couldnt help but chuckle at the ridiculous costume.
"What on earth are you wearing Blaine Anderson?" Kurt laughed.
"Its our costumes for the party," Blaine smiled and held up a Ketchup outfit for Kurt draped on his arm, "Mustard and Ketchup." Kurt took his red costume and studied it, smiling at the Ketchup Kurt written across the chest.
Kurt looked up at Blaine, "Blaine this is cute but we cant wear these."
"Why not?" Blaine frowned, "Its a good idea, people will love it." Blaine was dissapointed that Kurt didnt like his costume idea, he was sure Kurt would have loved it.
"This is beyond cheesy Blaine" Kurt walked to the living room and Blaine waddled behind him, "This is going to be more of a formal party and-"
"Halloween isnt supposted to be formal," Blaine cut him off, "Halloween is for fun and candy and laughing; anything but formal." Kurt knew Blaine was right, but this isnt what he pictured them wearing to this party.
"I dont know, Blaine," Kurt sighed and looked at his Ketchup costume again, "Maybe we should wear an old costume. I still have last years in a box somewhere." Kurt got up to find it but Blaine grabbed his arm before he could go.
"Kurt," Blaine said just above a whisper, "If you arent comfortable wearing these, I understand, but-" Kurt interupted and burst into laughter.
"Blaine, I can not take you seriously in that mustard outfit" Kurt smiled, shaking his head. Blaine smiled and shifted in his large costume, then continued.
"-but I at least want to see you try this on first." Blaine reached for the Ketchup outfit and handed it to Kurt, "I insist." Kurt rolled his eyes playfully and took the costume. Blaine tried to clap for him, but his costume was too far around and his hands could barely touch. Blaine sat back down and waited for a few minutes, eager to see his boyfriend in the costume.
"Are you almost finished, Kurt?" Blaine yelled from his spot on the couch, "Want me to come in and help?"
"No," Kurt shouted back, "No, I think Ive got it." Kurt finally waddled from the bathroom and looked at Blaine, his face red.
Blaine smiled with pride, "You look beautiful, Kurt."
"I look like a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz," Kurt growled.
"An adorable munchkin" Blaine laughed and bumped into Kurt, their big costumes bouncing off each other.
"Ah!" Kurt cried, nearly falling over, "Blaine Anderson you cut it out!"
"Come on Kurt, you know you love the costume!" Blaine cheered and looked at his adorable boyfriend, "Can we please give them a chance?" Blaine looked into Kurts eyes and gave him a serious look that he knew Kurt couldnt resist.
"Blaine..." Kurt sighed. He thought for a minute then looked back at Blaine who was still giving him the puppy eyes. Kurt looked back down at his costume and smiled, concluding his decision.
"I cant believe Im saying this but I guess we can-" Blaine cheered and started bouncing in his giant costume, knocking over the bowls of food sitting on the table.
Kurt shuffled over to Blaine, trying to make him stop, "Blaine watch out!"
Blaine ignored him and kept bouncing, "Jump with me Kurt!" He laughed and grabbed Kurts hands. Kurt rolled his eyes, then smiled and started jumping with Blaine, their hands grasped together. The two were so focused on each other that they didnt notice the door opened and Rachel had come home. She dropped her shopping bags and put a hand over her mouth when she say Blaine and Kurt.
"What the hell are you two wearing?!" Rachel burst into laughter and startled the couple. Kurt frowned when he saw Rachel and his face went red, Blaine waved at her and smiled.
"Hey Rachel, like our costumes for the party?" Blaine said. Rachel settled her laughing to small giggles then nodded at Blaine. She picked up her bags and walked to her room.
"You guys will be a hit at the party!" Rachel called when she got to her room. Blaine looked at Kurt and smiled, Kurt didnt return the gesture and walked to the bathroom to change.
"Yeah, we arent wearing these Blaine," Kurt sighed.
"No wait, Kurt!" Blaine chased after him and grabbed the back of Kurts costume. Kurt spun around and fell onto Blaine, both of them crashing to the groud. Kurts eyes were inches above Blaines and their noses touched. Kurt tried to roll off of his boyfriend but Blaine grabbed his arm and pulled him in for a kiss. Their soft lips collided for a few seconds before Kurt pulled away. Blaine looked at Kurt again and gave him a loving smile. Kurt smiled back then rolled off of Blaine.
After the couple were standing Blaine looked at Kurt "So, what are we wearing to the party?" He teased. Kurt shook his head and looked back at Blaine.
"Blaine Anderson if my arms werent so short in this costume I would hit you right now," Kurt teased back and the couple laughed.
