“Hey baby” said the tall lean man stood at the door.

“Hey, Sam. I’m almost ready, and Rachel’s still not here.” said Blaine smiling at his boyfriend.

It had been two year since Kurt had passed and this still felt wrong, he felt like he was cheating. He really liked Sam, but he still missed Kurt, his chest still ached at the memory.

“Oh I’ll go and sit in the living room” Sam said smiling

Sam entered the living room and found Becky sat watching Barbie Island princess.

“Hey Bex, how’s my favourite little girl today”

“Sam!” she squealed and ran to hug him.

“Hey, it’s nice to see you too! What are we watching?”

“Barbie”

“Oooh sounds fun,”

“Daddy Kurt loved watching this one with me”

“Oh Bex come here” he said pulling her close

“You can keep dating my daddy Sam, he’s all smiley and happy when he’s with you, I like seeing him happy, daddy Kurt would want him to be happy”

“Well Thank You Bex, I really like your daddy. He makes me happy”

“Good”

There was a knock at the door.

“Sam honey, could you get that it will be Rachel”

“Sure thing sweetie” said Sam, getting up.

“Don’t hurt my daddy Sam, he really likes you”

“I won’t, Bex I promise. I love him”

“You what?!” asked Blaine as he’d come to greet Rachel

“I err, erm love you. Blaine, I know that you still miss Kurt and that it’s odd for you to be dating again, but I’ve really fallen for you, and I really care about you and-”

Blaine pressed his lips to Sam’s; he really hadn’t felt this happy in ages... Not really since Kurt’s accident. He had really begun to fall for Sam; he’d fallen in love again when he thought it could never happen. It still made him feel bad, but Kurt would have wanted him to be happy, and to fall in love again.

“I’ll just let myself in then” said Rachel huffily

“I love you too Sam” said Blaine pulling Sam close

“Awww”

“Oh erm hi Rachel” said Blaine, blushing slightly.

“I’m happy for you Blaine, Sam makes you really happy”

“Hey Kurt,” said Blaine as he lay in bed, he often spoke to Kurt, telling him about his day. “I miss you, but today I took a big step, I told Sam I loved him, which I do, so, so, much. I think I have a shot being really happy again with him. Bex, misses you… she was watching that Barbie film you love so much earlier. Love you, always… good night”
