I am in love with Christmas!Klaine, so have this. Kurt and Blaine going out to find a tree. Fluffy drabble (nothing new I know I know)
Kurt and Blaine were out picking a Christmas tree, and Kurt was in no way surprised to see Blaine get so excited. Christmas had always been Blaine's favourite time of the year, and he always said that when the tree was up it officially meant it was Christmas. The two of them walked in and out of the many rows of trees, arm in arm and keeping close for warmth.
Kurt had loved seeing Blaine's eyes light up when they first arrived, how they shined still among all the trees. How when ever Kurt would suggest one, Blaine would regard it as not perfect enough, that it had to be special. How Kurt knew they could be here for any amount of time, however long Blaine would take, but he would put up with the cold if it meant seeing him this excited and happy.
Just then Blaine came to a stop. He was admiring a tree, - well, inspecting it more like - checking the size, bushiness, the size of the branches. Finally Blaine stopped circling the tree and looked up at Kurt, eyes bright and cheeks pink, with a big grin on his face.
"I- I think this is the one," he said very seriously.
Kurt couldn't help but laugh at how big of a deal this was for Blaine. He turned to the tree and put his hand on Blaine's back, "It's perfect honey. Don't know where I'd be without you," he said smiling. Blaine grinned back and reached in for a kiss, short but heartfelt, before going to buy it.
Later on, back at their apartment, they began to decorate the tree. They had all kinds of decorations, homemade ones they had done together over the years, new ones they had gone shopping for together, a few they had received as gifts, and even some that had been given to them by Burt their first year of living together when they couldn't afford new decorations. Kurt liked those ones, because most of them he had had when he was a child, so it was a nice little memento. Blaine liked them too, because Kurt had made quite a few of them with Burt when he was young, which he thought was incredibly cute.
They had a great fun putting up the tree, playing cheesy Christmas songs and dancing around together, singing along, drinking some champagne they had been given as a gift by one of Blaine's relations. When it was all done - Kurt had to help Blaine reach a few tall places - they stood back and admired it.
"It really is the prefect tree, huh?" Kurt wrapped his arm around Blaine's waist and drew him in.
"Merry Christmas, Blaine," he smiled and kissed him, smiling.
Blaine kissed him back, and when they drew apart, they leaned their foreheads together, Blaine's hand on Kurt's cheek.
Blaine broke away all of a sudden, grabbed Kurt's hand in his, put his other hand on his waist, and began dancing around merrily.
Kurt, completely taken by surprise, threw his hand on Kurt's shoulder and started laughing. They danced around like that, just having fun and not worrying, occasionally acting out parts of the song, until the song was over. Blaine stepped away from Kurt and bowed to an imaginary audience, Kurt laughing and copying.
Blaine pulled Kurt in by the waist, both of them still giggling, and Kurt wrapped his arms around his shoulders.
"I love you, Kurt Hummel." Blaine said, his face inches from Kurt's.
Kurt smiled, "I love you too, Blaine Anderson. And I always will."
He reached in and kissed him again, but it wasn't like before. He kissed with so much passion, pressing Blaine's lips open. Blaine responded whole-heartedly.
They stayed like that for a while, Kurt's eyes flickering open every now and again, to see that little blush on Blaine's cheeks that he got when they kissed like this, and when they broke apart they were both grinning like mad.
"Come on," Blaine said, leading Kurt off to the bedroom.
End Notes: Ta-Dah! Hope you liked it because honestly Christmas Klaine is my favourite and always will be
