Blaine sat staring out the window in the coffee shop, not fully taking in the words from the girl sitting in his lap. He didn't want to ignore Samantha but he just couldn't bring himself to be interested in that days gossip.

"Yeah, baby?" He responded sweetly when his girlfriend said his name questioningly. He looked up, tearing his gaze away from the window, to look up at the brunette curiously with a big grin.

"You haven't touched your coffee," She said, concerned.

"You seem distant."

"I'm sorry, Sam, I just-" He had started letting his gaze drift during the short conversation, landing again on the window. This time he spotted something far more interesting than before.

The boy walked in, lifting his hand to push his scarf behind him, keeping his head tall and his eyes trained on the front counter where he would pressumidly order himself something.

Blaine stared at the boy, his mouth still open from talking to Sam. He let his gaze wonder from the boys hips to his eyes. His eyes blazed like blue fire against his ivory skin, even in the dimmed light of the coffee shop.

"Blaine?" Samantha asked, sounding more concerned now.

"I-Uh, Sorry, What?" Blaine asked, forcing his eyes back to the girl who sat impatiently in his lap, her now empty coffee cup sitting next to Blaine's full one.

"Do you know that boy?" She asked, her eyes flicking to the slender boy at the counter.

"Oh, uh, no. D-Do you want another coffee?" He asked nervously.

"I really don't need another one Blaine, don't waist your money." She said, smiling lightly at Blaine, petting his Curls.

"It's o.k, I'll be right back Baby." He said, leaning up to give her a chaste kiss without any effort before standing and walking to the front counter.

He became increasingly nervous the closer he got to the
boy who was now mere feet from him. He knew he liked boys, he definately didn't have an interest in girls. He learned that from being with Samantha, but he'd never truly done anything to acknowledge he's being gay, and he felt bad for just leaving the girl.

"Hey." He said in a little voice that surprised himself.

"Hello." The boy said back platonicly, glancing quickly at Blaine before turning back to ignore him.

"I like your scarf, it. . ." Blaine didn't know how to finish the sentence with out sounding like a creep.

"Well, thank you." Kurt said, voice noticably softer than before, but still containing some edge as he looked Blaine up and down once.

Blaine shivered at the boys eyes on him. He was beautiful.

"I'm Blaine Anderson, by-by the way." Blaine said quickly before the boy could turn around.

"Kurt Hummel." He said back out of kindness rather than interest.

"Do you come here often?" Blaine mentally kicked himself at his own words. It hadn't sounded like he was trying to hit on Kurt, but the word choice was definately awkward.

"Look, is there something you want from me?" He asked sharply, eyes sharp on Blaine.

Blaine winced at Kurt's words.

"No, I just wanted to talk to you. ." He said honestly, he couldn't help but notice how high of a voice Kurt had, it was cute.

"Well whatever it is-" Kurt started, looking confused.

"Hey Baby." Samantha came up behind her boyfriend, kissing him on the cheek and wrapping her arms around Blaine's neck.

She looked up at Kurt.

Blaine thought he saw something fall in Kurt's eyes, but decided to not make anything of it.

"Hey. . ." He said at his girlfriends poor timing. His girlfriends. Crap. Yeah. Now there was a problem he didn't see.

"I wasn't kidding when I said I didn't need another coffee, we could just. . .go. . ." She said, blowing lightly on Blaine's ear.

Blaine shivered, but not with pleasure. His eyes darted back to Kurt who had a look of disgust in his eyes before turning back around.

"I actually have something to do at home." He said quickly, seeing Samantha's expression droop a bit.

"O.k, I'll meet you in the car." And with that, Sam turned and went out the door.

"Sorry. . .It was nice to meet you Kurt." Blaine said, sheepishly, trying to explain without words.

Blaine walked through the hallways of McKinley glumly. He had been avoiding his girlfriend all morning. He couldn't get the brilliant Blue eyes out of his head and he felt guilty for being so distracted around Sam all the time. Thinking about someone else around her almost felt like cheating.

This was also his first day at the same school as her.

Before, when at Dalton, he didn't have to put on the boyfriend cherade all the time, now that he had too, he wasn't looking forward to it.

At the end of the day he was dragged to the school's glee club for try outs by his girlfriend. He had been in his old school's glee club, but being in this one meant romantic duets.

And with a girl.

He walked in and spotted Sam immediately. She had told him to call her Samantha, since there was another boy named Sam in the group.

More than anything he noticed a pair of eyes. Blue ones.

"Kurt. . " He whispered under his breath as Samantha bounded up to him cheerily.

"You made it!" She said, grabbing his hand and leading him to a seat.

Kurt looked up into Blaine's eyes as he was sitting down.

Samantha kissed Blaine on the cheek, snapping him out of his trance. He turned to acknowledge Samantha before turning back to Kurt, only to see that the other boy had turned away.

Mr. Schue walked in, noticing Blaine's presence he allowed him the chance to audition.

He stood in the middle of the floor after giving the name of the song to the band.

"You think i'm pretty, without any make up on.

"You think I'm funny, when I say the punch line wrong."

Blaine said the notes quickly, tapping his foot to the music playing around him. He found himself staring into Kurt's eyes as he sang, unable to make himself look away.

"I know you get me, so I let my walls come down,"

Kurt gasped lightly and looked into Blaine's eyes. He sat up straighter. What was up with this guy? The coffee shop and now this? Didn't he have a girlfriend? Yes, he was sure he did. He'd been sickeningly reminded of that fact more than once. He always fell for the wrong guys.

Blaine sang the chorus, never taking his eyes away from Kurt's. Jumping up a little when he started staring back at him.

At the end of his song, Kurt forcefully looked away from Blaine, clapping quietly along with the roars and cheers from everyone else.

Blaine shook himself and sat back down next to Samantha, avoiding her eyes.

Mr.Schue praised Blaine on his performance, announcing that he made it into the New Directions.

At the end of rehersal everyone left besides Blaine, Kurt and Puck.

"Noah, honestly I don't care to speak to you any more on the topic."

"Come on, Kurt, youn know he is. " Puck defended.

"Goodbye, Noah." Kurt dismissed.

Puck walked out, slinging his jacket over his shoulder.

That was when Blaine realized that he and Kurt were left alone.

"Hi. . ." Blaine said, nervously.

"Do you have a problem with me?" Kurt all but hissed back.

"No! I just. . ." Blaine seemed to be at a lack of words again, Kurt's eyes blazing.

"Just what?" He questioned.

"Just. . .really like you." He finally said, stepping closer to kurt, reaching out to brush his fingertips against Kurt's hand.

Kurt looked taken aback, it was his turn to be at a loss of words.

"I-I thought you had a girlfriend. . . ." Kurt asked carefully.

Blaine winced noticably, looking pained. "I do." He said sadly.

"Then I don't think I have anything else to say to you. I'm not one for helping people cheat." Kurt responded.

Blaine watched as Kurt left the room.

After a while, Blaine finally walked out. He Stopped short of the door, seeing Kurt and Samantha talking. He ducked out of view briefly, looking back to see Kurt walking away. He stepped out tentatively.

"Blaine. . .is there something you want to tell me?" Samantha said, making sure they were alone and looking sadly at Blaine.

"Sam, I-" He started.

"Don't bother Blaine. I'm not an idiot."

"I know you're not! I-"

"Listen Blaine, I don't want to break up with you, but I have the feeling that you like someone else right now," She said knowingly, glancing in the direction Kurt was walking away, something flickering in her deep brown irises.

"So I think it's best we end whatever it was between us." She offered him a small smile, putting a hand on his arm.

"Sam. . .I-I. .thank you." He settled on saying, covering her hand with his.

"You're still my best boo though, so don't expect to be rid of me completely." She said with a smirk.

"That sounds really nice actually." Blaine smiled back.

"See ya later Blaine." She said, giving him a last goodbye kiss on the cheek before walking out the door opposite Kurt.

Blaine smiled. Sam was definately the coolest girl he knew, he was glad things were o.k between them.

He blinked and shook himself, he needed to talk to Kurt.

"Kurt!" He shouted, running after him.

Kurt opened the door, stopping with it half open, turning around to see Blaine with glassy eyes.

Blaine stopped in front of Kurt, breathing heavily. Kurt looked like an angel, his outline softly illuminated by the light from the doorway.

"Did. . .did she tell you?" Blaine asked, barely a whisper.

"Yes. . ." He answered, a smile breaking onto his face.

"Kurt Hummel. . ." Blaine started.

Kurt nodded for him to continue as Blaine took Kurt's hand in his own.

"Will you go out with me?" He asked, feeling small and hopeful.

"Yes. . .Yes Blaine!" He said, jumping into Blaine's arms, hugging him.

Blaine hugged Kurt back, he had Sam and Kurt. He had Kurt. That was all he needed.
