“How do you feel?”
Kurt chuckles, his lips forming into a small pout when he replies, “Sticky.”
Blaine laughs and rolls his eyes, wrapping an arm around his husband's waist to get him closer. “No, silly. I meant how do you feel being married? It's quite a difference to being engaged.”
“It is? What makes it so different?” asks Kurt, his fingers lazily tracing up and down Blaine's bicep, making him shiver lightly. “I mean, sure, those are different rings and…” he trails off, lifting his hand to glance at the gold ring on his finger, “I finally get to call you my husband.”
“That makes it different, doesn't it?” Blaine smiles, kissing the side of Kurt's head. “But you want to know a secret?”
Kurt nods.
“I've always had the nightmare that you wouldn't show up, realizing that you aren't quite ready to get married yet.” Blaine admits, a small sigh escaping his lips as he turns to glance at Kurt.
“Why would you think that?”
“We're young. We still have our lives ahead of us and… aren't people with twenty-three supposed to be out in the world and party? Shouldn't twenty-three-year olds be having their experience with different people? I mean, c'mon. Did you ever consider being married in your early twenties? I don't think so.”
Kurt smiles, “Blaine,” he sighs, shaking his head. “We can still go out and party, just because we're married doesn't mean we can't. Yes, we're young, we're just starting our careers but… we already found what other people are looking for their entire lives. We found each other, and even though it's never been easy, we're here now. We have our own apartment, jobs and we have us.” He says.
“And just to answer your question… No, I never considered it. But the day we met, I knew that we'd life happily ever after. And just because getting married was earlier than we expected, doesn't mean that it's less perfect.” Kurt adds, smiling brightly as he leans down to kiss to his husband.
“God, I love you so much,” Blaine whispers against his lips. “I still don't get how I deserve you.”
“I love you, too, more than anything. I wouldn't be here otherwise.” Kurt chuckles as he snuggles back in closer to him. “You're amazing; that's how.”
Blaine kisses the side of Kurt's head again, closing his eyes to just let the moment sink in for a few minutes. He knows that Kurt's right, knows that they can be really lucky to have found each other so soon other than too late.
“So… I was wondering something.” Kurt breaks the silence a few moments later, grinning mischievously up at him.
“And what would that be, sweetie?” asks Blaine, already guessing what Kurt was thinking about.
“I was wondering if you were ready to go for round two already?” Kurt is now smirking, his hand stroking Blaine's chest before it slips under the blanket that's covering Blaine from the hips down. “Ooh, I think you are…” He chuckles as his hand gently cups Blaine, having him moan shamelessly loud.
“See what you're doing to me?” Blaine breaths out, biting down on his lip as Kurt kicks off the blanket, moving over to straddle his hips.
“Definitely do.” He grins as he leans down to seal their lips together again.
Blaine pulls away a second later, only to whisper the words “I love you,” against Kurt's lips.
“I love you too. Forever and ever.”
