"Blaine, I'm home!" Kurt called out as he entered into the living room of the apartment he shared with his boyfriend, Blaine.

He threw his backpack onto the burgundy carpet and collasped onto the couch, face first into a cushion. He looked down at the carpet and shivered slightly. He wasn't a big fan of the color of the carpet, but it was going to have to do for now. At least until he earned enough money to buy a new carpet.

He shut his eyes for a moment, inhaling the smell of the couch. It smelt of green apples.

"Gotta love Blaine's shampoo," he thought, smiling slightly. He turned over on his back and stared up at the ceiling.

"I wonder where Blaine is?" he thought to himself. He would have usually expected Blaine to bounce into the living room and greet his boyfriend with a shower of hugs adoring kisses, but he didn't come in. At least not yet.

As he thought of where his boyfriend could be, he heard a faint, yet audible thump coming from inside the kitchen. A faint snoring noise followed soon after.

Kurt lifted himself from the couch and walked towards the kitchen. As he came closer to the kitchen, the snoring grew louder.

When he entered the kitchen, he smiled and slightly giggled at the sight before him.

Blaine was lying on a enormous textbook, eyes shut and his mouth slightly gaping open. He had pencils stuck inside of his curly hair, and he had sticky notes attached to his hair, face, and clothing.

Kurt smiled and walked over to him. Sitting down in the chair next to his dozing boyfriend, he began to lightly nudge him.

"Blaine...wake up, sweetie. You can't drool on the kitchen table...you know I make our food here." he said to him.

Blaine stirred slightly, letting out a frustrated groan as he opened his eyelids partially.

"Good. You need to go to bed," Kurt told him as he stood up and walked over to the kitchen counter.

"Can't...sleep. Need to....study," Blaine said, dragging the last word as he began to doze off.

"Blaine, you need to go to bed, it's late." Kurt said as he walked to the coffee maker.

"How...late?" he asked, trying his hardest to keep his eyes open.

"It's two in the morning, babe." Kurt told him, grabbing a mug from the cupboard.

Blaine looked down at his textbook and removed a sticky note from his hair. He grabbed a pencil and began to jot down notes. As he was writing, Kurt came up from behind him and wrapped his arms around Blaine's chest, resting his chin on his shoulder. Kurt noticed Blaine's smile and quickly returned it.

"Blaine, you've been up for days, studying nonstop. I think you need some rest." Kurt said, looking at Blaine.

Blaine shook his head and said, "No, my finals are in the morning and I need to study. I need to pass."

As he walked over to the coffee maker, Kurt simply said, "Blaine, considering all the studying you've been doing, you're going to pass. As I said before, you've been up for days studying."

Blaine looked over towards his boyfriend and smiled. He looked back at his textbook and sighed deeply.

Kurt looked at Blaine and then looked towards the cup of coffee that he recently just poured. He knew that if he kept trying to get Blaine to sleep, he might not get any sleep either.

Grabbing the mug, he walked over to Blaine and sat down in the chair.

"Here," Kurt said, handing Blaine the mug, "You're going to need this more than I do."

Blaine looked at him and smiled. He grabbed the mug and placed it next to his textbook.

Kurt had finally taken in the state that Blaine was in. He had dark circles around his eyes, his hair was frizzed, and didn't seem to be smothered in gel like it usually is everyday. He had bags under his eyes, due to his extreme lack of sleep.

On numerous occasions, Kurt would find that seeing Blaine like this was displeasing, but, observing him now, he never thought Blaine could look any better.

Kurt leaned forward and pressed his lips against Blaine's, savoring the kiss for several moments before pulling away.

"I love you." Blaine said, a grin spreading across his face.

Kurt smiled and pressed a quick peck to Blaine's lips before saying, "I love you, too."
