Kurt and Blaine decided to take their three children swimming. (pure fluff!)
Author's Notes: To anyone who knows me .... Yeah I'm not dead or anything I've just had like no ideas what I'm doing with Holding On Forever I'll try my hardest to get it done but I wrote this a week ago after going swimming so I hope everyone likes it ;3 Hope you liked it (;
"Come on daddy!" yelled the six year old as she and her brother ran ahead of their fathers.
Kurt just shook his head as he picked up a gurgling Eliza out of her car seat and in to his hip. While Blaine grabbed the kids bags.
Today Blaine had come up with the idea of taking the kids swimming. Both Bailey and Matthew had been taking swimming lessons since they were four. So now the seven year olds thought they could out swim an olympian!
Eliza however only being four months old had yet experienced a public pool. The closest she had been were her baths.
As well as the kids wanting to go, Blaine had always had a love of swimming.
The family were rejoined at the entrance and went in. The changing room was a giant room with all different cubicles depending on sizes of families or if someone was alone. Kurt took Eliza and Bailey into one and Blaine with Matthew in the one next to them.
Emerging a few minutes later was Blaine wearing his red swimming trunks and Matthew with his blue trunks with sharks around the top.
Kurt brought Bailey and Eliza out to Blaine and then returned in the cubicle to get himself changed.
"How come Bailey got a new costume?" Asked Matthew, since they were twins there was always questions when one sibling got something new and the other didn't.
Bailey just stuck her tougue out at her sibling.
"Because if you remember Bailey ripped a hole in hers at your last lesson" Blaine reminded him, bouncing a happy Eliza on his hip. The little girl wearing a pale pink costume with a thrilly piece of material around her hip to look like a tutu.
Kurt soon came out wearing navy blue trunks. Blaine admiring his husbands pale chest, admiring Kurts confidence knowing how he was never comfortable taking his shirt off in public.
They made their way through to the main pool area. The pool was in the shape of a kidney stone but streched out to fill nearly all the room, including a baby pool, water slides and even some hot tubs.
Bailey and Matthew stood there just looking at the giant pool before breaking out into a run towards the waterslides. Only to then have a lifeguard blow a whistle at them, making the twins stop to a halt.
Blaine shook his head and passed Eliza back to Kurt and went to sort out the terrible two.
"How many times have you been told to never run by a pool?" Blaine asked the two, who seemed embarrassed.
"Sorry papa" they said in sinc. That was something that scared both Kurt and Blaine when the twins started talking, they would say stuff in sinc all the time.
"Alright" Blaine said then smiled "So which one of you is going first down the slide" causing the two to smile and follow Blaine towards the giant slides.
Kurt watched the two, well three, kids walk off.
"Well little girlie" he said looking down at Eliza "Why don't we go buy you one of those floaties and then you have your first time in a swimming pool" Eliza smiled so Kurt took that as a yes.
By the time Kurt got back, he found Blaine and the kids back.
"Hey" Blaine leaned over a kissed his cheek, neither caring anymore about what other families think.
Kurt smiled back and looked at the twins who now both had soaking wet hair.
"Did you have fun?" Kurt asked bouncing Eliza on his hip.
"Yeah! Bailey went down first, me and papa watched from the top and she went super fast! Then I went and I've never been down a slide more fun!" Matthew explained happily and quickly.
"And now we are gonna try and find some floaty toys!" Bailey told her father.
"Okay, well me and papa will be with Eliza in the shallow end so we'll be watching you" Kurt reminded them, the twins nodded and went off in the pool.
"What have you got their Izzy?" Blaine asked using Eliza's nickname after seeing the box with her inflatable in.
"I thought it would be easy incase we go deeper. But I didnt want you to miss her first time in the pool" Kurt told him.
They made their way to the shallow end of the pool. The pool's entrance was a ramp which got deeper the further you go in. So the two dads stayed in a shallow end.
Kurt sat down keeping Eliza above the water as Blaine sat in front of Kurt, facing him.
"Ready Izzy?" Kurt asked her, she was looking around at the strange new place, looking a bit terrified. It wasn't until she spotted Blaine behind her that she calmed down.
Kurt turned her around to face Blaine and then let her sit down in the water, but keeping his hands on her waist.
Eliza looked in-between her parents then looked down towards the water. Then she cried.
Kurt quickly picked her back out and held her close to his chest in a way to settle her.
"Come on Izzy, both your brother and sister love swimming, I'm sure you will too" Blaine cooed to the little girl, strocking her back softly.
Eliza turned in Kurts arms and made grabbing hands towards Blaine. So Kurt passed her to him to see if she would try again.
"Okay another go Izzy?" he asked the brunette in his arms "See me and daddy are here and yes I know your small but you'll be okay in the water. Okay?" he asked bouncing her slightly, making her giggle. Her laugh made the two fathers smile.
"So, one" he lowered Eliza slightly "two" she was then grazing the water.
"Three" and she was put back into the lukewarm water.
At first both Kurt and Blaine thought she'd start crying again. But instead she looked at Kurt and laughed happily.
"See Izzy we knew you'd love it!" Blaine said excitedly. The four month old started splashing the water with her slightly chubby arms still giggling like a maniac.
"Papa! Daddy! Look! Look!" they heard Baileys voice from a few feet away. They looked over to see both their twins had been learning to swim underwater.
When the twins surfaced, both Kurt and Blaine praised them.
"Wow! We're proud of you two!" Kurt told them, getting a quick hug in reply and then the two kids disappeared again.
Eliza decided to move from her sitting position, of course she had yet to master crawling, she shuffled herself a little bit towards Kurt.
"Wanna try in your floatie?" Kurt asked Eliza, who was now staring at him with her Hazel/green eyes.
Kurt picked her up and then stood up slowly, while Blaine also got up but went over to get the purple floatie out if it's box. He blew it up quickly while Kurt began to go slightly deep but didnt go deeper than his waist.
Blaine brought the newly blew up floatie to the two on the water. Then he placed it infront of them.
The one they had brought was just a rubber almost square one, with a seat in the middle for an infant. Kurt placed Eliza in it. But the little girl seemed a bit worried about what was going on.
"Izzy look at you! Your floating!" Blaine said excitedly to her. Eliza once again looked around and saw that it was true. She smiled and noticeably relaxed.
Kurt watched as Blaine played with Izzy until he saw two figures the underwater right behind Blaine. Then watched in delight as the twins jumped up on to blaines back and screamed.
Kurt swore Blaine jumped about two feet in the air. But he still laughed with Eliza.
Blaine turned his head to see the twins giggling and smiling.
"You two are so mean" Blaine said seriously but then laughing along.
Kurt looked at his kids and husband. He honestly had never been happier.
