Author's Notes: Just a fluffy one shot I wrote after seeing some photos of driftwood fires. It's nothing fancy, just a little Drabble ;)
Burning driftwood was beautiful. The high flames licked and danced in a swirl of blue and lavender, entwining and colliding in their paths. It wasn't an artificial blue like a gas flame, but a vivid, multi-tonal array of colour that glowed against the pale beach and dark, moonlit sky. You wouldn't expect it to be so warm looking at the colour, but the heat billowing from the fire seeped right through Blaine's clothes, his skin, and warmed him to his very core.

Suddenly a jolt of turquoise shot through the flames, dancing brightly and intensely before dimming and eventually fading. Something in the colour combination made his heart ache in that most delightful way that love caused. The colours were just like Kurt's eyes, but only half as beautiful. Looking away from the fire, Blaine was met with these beautiful eyes connecting with his. The sharp blues melted together with soft shades and blurred lines, a pattern do unique and intricate that it could never be recreated. There was no one like Kurt in the whole world. No one could capture his heart with the blink of an eye and slight blush of cheeks. He'd never met anyone so oblivious to their own beauty. Kurt's head tilted slightly with a fond smile when he saw Blaine looking at him, blushing slightly and looking down through his eyelashes as he so often did.
"Beautiful..."Blaine mumbled
"I know, the fires amazing" kurt smiled blissfully.
"No Kurt, you. You are so beautiful..." Blaine whispered in awe. His hand found Kurt's under the thick blanket they shared that had once belonged to Kurt's mother. He lightly traced his thumb over the soft skin and continued to gaze at his boyfriends eyes.
No. There really was nothing more beautiful in the world...
End Notes: Hope you enjoyed, reviews are welcomed and appreciated!
