A week had gone by since Kurt returned to McKinley, he still hardly went alone and if he had to he was like a meirecat looking all around. Which is just what he was doing right now, he was going to meet Blaine at the auditorium to practice a solo for glee club, when he got cut off.

He looked up to see the red sleeve of a football jersey. His heart stopped beating in his chest, and his hand squeezed around his phone in his pocket. In case he needed help. He wanted to run, but he knew that Karofsky was a lot faster than he was.

“Hey there Hummel, I see that you are back. What no welcome hug?” Karofsky asked cornering Kurt against the wall.

“Leave me alone. I told you before that I don’t want you around me.” Kurt busted out. He was moving his hand around his phone to his speed dial; which was Blaine, if something happened at least Blaine would be able to hear it.

“That’s going to be a little hard since you almost got me expelled.”

“I didn’t get you almost expelled, you threatened to kill me.” Kurt looked around the hall to see if anyone would come and rescue him, but the halls where empty. But he had gotten threw to Blaine and he could just barley hearing him shouting

“Hello Kurt is everything ok. Kurt are you there?

“Just leave me alone Karofsky, I mean it.”

“What are you going to do, your little body guards are nowhere. And I am pretty sure that you could not take me by yourself Homo.” Karofsky said with a chuckle

“Just because you can not accept who you are doesn’t mean that you can pick on us who know who we are.” Kurt was trying to sound brave but there was still a hint of fear in his voice. He could hear Blaine’s voice coming from his pocket.

“Hold on Kurt I’m almost there.” A feeling of security washed over him with the thought of Blaine so close and able to protect him.

“I swear if you ever tell anyone I will kill you. I know who I am. You’re the one who kissed me.” Karofsky said getting closer and angry.

“I didn’t kiss you. The sooner you come to terms with who you are, then the less angry you will be. Now leave me alone.” He was angry Kurt could tell he was starting to debate if he should duck and run.

Karofsky hand had risen in the air as if to stick, when Kurt’s eye saw Blaine at the end of the hallway, he just came running down the hallway phone by his ear, in a panic.

He shouted out with his golden voice.

“Step away from him David!” Blaine threatened walking calmly to the pair of them. Kurt could tell that he was worried and mad.

“What is this, your boyfriend coming to the rescue?” Karofsky laughed putting his hand down.

“As a matter of fact yes, Come on Kurt lets go.” Blaine said reaching for Kurt’s hand and started to pull him.

Kurt caught a look of sadness in Karofsky face when Blaine said yes.

“That’s right Homos just walk away, don’t want to mess up your hair or anything. I’ll see you later Hummel, this is a small school and your boyfriend can’t always be there to protect you.” He said threatening.

Kurt’s hand grasped harder around Blaine’s. It was the truth, what if he was here alone again, and no Blaine already on route to find him. Then what would Karofsky do? Just then Blaine’s hand slipped out of Kurt’s, as he turned around to face Karofsky.

“You leave him alone you hear me. If I ever find out that you hurt one hair of Kurt’s head or you keep threatening him, I will come and pound the daylights out of you.” Kurt had never seen Blaine this angry before, and as sexy has he found Blaine right now, he was worried.

“Blaine just leave him alone, he’s not worth it.” He pleaded he didn’t want to see his white knight get hurt because of him.

“I’ll like to see you try and fight me homo.” Karofsky threatened getting right up in Blaine’s face.

“Just because you cannot accept who you are doesn’t mean you have to take it out on Kurt for being who he is. If you ever decide to come out and you need someone to talk to and help you deal, I will maybe be there, but not if you keep acting this way.” Blaine said calming down and trying to sound reasonable.

“I am not a homo!” Karofsky said shoving Blaine against the wall; Kurt ran over to Blaine again and pulled Karofsky off him like before.

“Blaine come on let’s just go.” Kurt begged he was scared and didn’t want to draw any attention.

Blaine straightened himself up, and looked like he was going to turn away, but instead went and shoved Karofsky right back.
“Come on let’s do this.” Blaine shouted.

Karofsky was about to attack back when a whistle came blowing down the hallway.

“Porcelain, Karofsky, Offensive curly haired guy, enough is enough.” It was Sue, and for the first time Kurt was happy to see her.

“I’ll meet you later.” Karofsky said pointing his threat towards Blaine and Kurt before he turned and walked away. Kurt grabbed Blaine’s shoulder to calm him down, and Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt.

“Sorry I lost my cool.” Blaine whispered.

“I was so scared, thank you for coming so quickly.” Kurt said putting his head in Blaine’s shoulder trying not to cry, because it would stain Blaine’s jacket.

“You don’t have to be.” Blaine said wrapping his arms around Kurt’s waist.

“What is going on here?” Sue asked, as the two boys separated.

Kurt whipped his face and was about to explain but Blaine interrupted.

“I must apologize for the noise, I was just meeting my new class mate; I’m transferring to McKinley next week.” Blaine said serious as he took Kurt’s hand in his.

Kurt’s heart skipped a beat as Blaine squeezed his back.

“Then get out of here, and cut your feisty curls.” Sue said turning and walk away.

“Really?” Kurt asked excited.

“I am not going to leave you here alone.” Blaine said in a mock silly tone.

“But what about the Warblers?” Kurt asked worried.

“They have plenty of talent in that group, and there is only one you.”

“You won’t have every solo here in Glee.” Kurt teased.

“I can manage without every solo, but I can’t live without you Kurt, your my everything.” He leaned in and gave Kurt a surprise kiss.
