“Every Kliss Begins With Kay”
THIRD PERSON POV
“Hurry up! You’re walking too slow!” Blaine practically yelled out for everyone in the Lima, Ohio mall to hear, the grin on his face the only inquiry to his sarcasm. How did Kurt get so lucky as to find someone as amazing as him? Sometimes, he doubted he even deserved Blaine…
They were walking hand in hand past the various stores and showcases, when Kurt saw a Kay Jewelers store just ahead. He ran towards the rings on display in the window, nearly knocking Blaine to the ground in the process. Blaine spouts a bit of laughter when he realized why his boyfriend had sped up so suddenly. He just stared at Kurt, deep in thought.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Kurt questioned the dazed look on Blaine’s face.
The boy in question shook his head as if to clear a fog from his brain before answering, “Uh…nothing. I was just wondering why you always stop in front of this store when we come here…but it doesn’t matter.”
“Oh…”
Kurt was dumbstruck. He never thought Blaine would really notice that he always had to stop by Kay’s window.
“You don’t have to explain yourself… It’s just something I was wondering about…”
“I’ve just always been intrigued by their beauty, and I also want one someday…” He slowly allowed the sentence to drift off so that maybe Blaine hadn’t heard the last part.
Kurt brought his hands up to cover his face in embarrassment when he heard the other boy laugh.
Blaine, realizing his mistake, quickly pulled the taller of the two into a deep hug. When he was satisfied, he leaned back to peer into those deep pools of blue that he loved so much. Both knew what the other needed. With nothing said, their faces moved slowly forward until their lips were slightly brushing together in a sweet kiss.
All too soon, they pulled apart, Kurt giggling at his own thoughts.
“What’s so funny?” Blaine asked in confusion.
“I just thought of something.”
“And that would be?”
“You know the Kay commercial jingle, right?” Blaine nodded. “Well, I just put our couple name in the jingle in my head…”
