It was a thursday when Blaine finally met the love of his life.
The weather was slightly over warm and fuzzy for a November day, rays of sunshine peered through the curtains, resting on the neat writing table.
Blaine woke up earlier than usual, before the alarm even started. He only has Physics at 15:20 today, even he had first shift for Phaidon but it only takes ten minutes for him to get there.
He was a bit early.
So he ate his breakfast, drank his milk, washed his dishes, read his newspaper, fed the bird, got dressed, and left. He wasn't in a rush.
It was only 9:22.
The autumn leaves crunched under Blaine's steps, the air was fresh for the standards of New York.
He loved this city, loved what he was doing, loved everything that was happening in his life. It was completely different from what he anticipated, it was better.
He walked into Ground Support for a Cappuccino, talked a bit with the new female barrista Jasmine, rejected her number stating the fact that he plays for the other team and received the regular female barrista Phyllis's teasing smile when she rolled her eyes and waved them goodbye.
This had been a routine for the past two years ever since he started school in Colombia. He just needed his caffeine.
Blaine crossed Spring Street and took a right, he should be able to arrive at the bookstore just in time to put away his stuff and start the one hour preparation before shop officially opens. Martha should be his shift partner today.
He was just randomly looking at the shops, when he met the love of his life.
Technically, he never met him. He just saw.
A boy with an elegant and perfect poise, adjusting the shirt of a mannequin behind the store window of a French boutique, immensely absorbed in his work and didn't even realize Blaine was staring.
Blaine knew himself well enough to know when he's in love. Right now, he knew he was falling deep and hard, for this stranger.
And he couldn't care less.
So when the boy finally looked up and met his gaze, he smiled and walked into the shop.
"Hi, I'm Blaine, I've been looking for you forever."

Oh wow, I could totally imagine that happening had they not met in Glee. I hope you consider doing a sequel, with Kurt's reaction to Blaine's bold introduction. :)
Well it's a ficlet so I'm not too sure about a sequel, especially without a beta I'm terribly slow in editing my own work... It's fairly possible! ;)
