After years of being together, Kurt decides to finally ask Blaine the big question.
Author's Notes: It's really short, but it's just my idea of how the klaine proposal would go. A concept that's been done many times before, I'm just adding another one. Give it a try?
It was a peaceful, winter evening in New York city. Kurt and Blaine had spent the entire day together. They stood face to face, in the middle of the park, hands intertwined with each other's. All was silent but the rustling of the trees.
"Blaine..." Kurt whispered into the cold air.
Blaine looked into his boyfriend's eyes and gave a loving smile in reply.
Their faces were so close that if Blaine leaned forward a bit he could lock lips with the beautiful man in front of him, but he didn't, allowing Kurt to continue talking.
"remember the first time we met? when I went to Dalton?"
Blaine smiled, remembering the life changing day. "How could I not?..." he chuckled at the memory "you were a terrible spy."
Kurt smiled as well, closing his eyes, reliving the moment. He looked back up at the pair of hazel eyes in front of him. "And remember that time you gave me the 'you move me' speech? and kissed me for the first time?"
Blaine laughed at his own corniness, trying to figure out where this walk down memory lane was headed.
"Remember after nationals," Kurt continued "when you first told me that you loved me? and I said 'I love you too'?"
Blaine sighed, astonished that so much time had passed since then. He looked back at his boyfriend, at the way the wind blew in his hair, at the way his cheeks and nose were a little red because of the cold. He really loves everything about Kurt.
"Blaine, all those moments, looking back, I wouldn't want to change anything about them. Because they're moments that brought us here. Together. In New York! This is where out lives really start! And, Blaine, I wouldn't want to spend them with anyone else but you."
Blaine couldn't help but give a huge smile, not being able to take his eyes off the person in front of him. By then he had figured out exactly where this speech was going. He gave Kurt's hands a reassuring squeeze for him to continue.
Kurt took a deep breath, lowering his body and balancing himself on one knee. Giving him a beautiful view of the figure above. BLAINE. Blaine with the triangular eyebrows. Blaine with the hypnotizing, hazel eyes that were always so expressive filled with love. Blaine whom he loved more than anything.
Kurt used one hand to grab Blaine's, using his other hand to reach into his pocket and pull out a small box. He licked his lips before continuing. "Blaine Warbler-"
Blaine chuckled at the nickname he hadn't heard since high school, the same nickname Kurt used when he asked to go to prom with him.
"-will you marry me?"
It began to snow right before Blaine gave his answer.
A small laugh escaped from his lips. "yes-" both of them smiling as Kurt put the ring on Blaine's finger. Laughing as he stood. "-yes I will!" he replied eagerly.
Snow fell into the scenery as the boys kissed passionately, arms hugging the other's body, bringing them closer together.
They had each other, and that's all that mattered.
End Notes: So, yeah, that's it :D . What did you think? It was my first fic, how did I do?
