"We have to get up," Kurt gurgled, attempting to untangle himself from his stubborn Gryffindor robe. He and Blaine were sprawled out on Kurt's bed, wallowing in precious memories of past years.

"Go on without me," replied Blaine as he slowly wrapped the red and gold scarf around his neck.

"No man gets left behind!"

Kurt then flung himself on top of Blaine and carefully pried the colorful cloth from his rough-skinned fingers.

"I have no reason to live," Blaine sighed, reaching for a jumbo bag of assorted candy. He pilfered through it, pursing his lips when he saw nothing worth eating. Kurt laughed and sluggishly maneuvered his way off of the bed, flicking on the light in the process.

"Ah, it burns!" winced Blaine as he brought his hand up to shield his sensitive eyes.

"Honey, we've been in this depressive stupor for two days now," Kurt said, "And I'm not going to lie, the stench radiating from your body is starting to make me gag."

Blaine's jaw dropped, allowing the peppermint he'd just shoved into his mouth to tumble out. He burst from under the covers and stomped his way over to Kurt;

"Oh, really?" he questioned, poking his boyfriend in the chest with each new word that rolled off of his quick tongue. "Well, you don't necessarily smell like sunshine and daisies, either!"

"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow…" Kurt began, wearing a smirk.

"Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow!" Blaine finished as tears trickled down his cheek. Sucking in another gulp of air, he asked, "What am I supposed to do with my life?"

Kurt shrugged his shoulders and cupped Blaine's pitiful face in his hands;

"I'm asking myself the same thing, darling, but all I know," he said as he kissed Blaine's salty lashes, "is that I'll be here for you until the very end."

Blaine choked out a sob-coated cackle and sheepishly glanced at Kurt;

"Even after all this time…I've spent in bed, drowning myself in food, and emitting a foul odor?" he inquired.

"Always," answered Kurt.

"Always."

HAHAHAHAHAHA I can't get over how realistically accurate this is xD

this is one of the first things i read on the site, and clearly one of the cutest drabbles ever :)

Oh, I knew I was probably piling on the cheese, but I just couldn't stop myself! Haha. Glad you love it!

Usually having this many references in such a short story would be overly-cheesy, but you really make it work- I love it!
