Just a small moment after the Kliss. And Burt meets Blaine.
Author's Notes: Burt hasn't met Blaine in this fic.
Right after school, Blaine and Kurt walked back to their cars. It was the first time they could take in private today, after their kiss. Their first kiss.
They were both happy, but nervous, since their kissing session had been interrupted by the school bell. They hadn’t had the time yet to talk about what happened, so they didn’t really know what they were now.
Blaine had made the first move in the kissing department, so Kurt figured that he better made the next move. Both of them were inexperienced, which meant that neither of them could take the lead based on experience.
He looked down at Blaine’s hand and rubbed his own against it. When he saw that Blaine didn’t pull his hand away, he grabbed it. He squeezed it gently and looked up to see Blaine’s face. He was smiling. Kurt smiled back.
“Is this okay? Holding hands?”, he asked. They were in public and he didn’t know if Blaine wanted to be dating like this...
But said boy just had a broad smile on his face. “I love it. I’ve never really had anyone to hold hands with... Well, not since pre-school.”
“Me neither,” Kurt answered, “If you forget about my short... thing with Britanny.”
They both chuckled, but then there was a silence again. They concentrated on walking again, still holding hands.
Blaine was the first to speak again. “This is a little weird, isn’t it?”
“Yeah,” Kurt admitted, “It is. A little.”
So the dark-haired boy took a deep breath and stopped. He turned Kurt towards him and grabbed his other hand too. “Will you be my boyfriend, Kurt?”
“Official, exclusive, everybody can know about us-boyfriends?”, he asked excited.
Blaine chuckled. “Everything you want to us to be.”
Kurt kissed Blaine softly on his mouth. “I’ll be your boyfriend, then.”
On the parking lot, Kurt asked Blaine if he wanted to come over. Blaine liked the idea and quickly called his mom. Meanwhile, Kurt texted his dad to let him know that they’d have a visitor.
“Hi dad!”, Kurt said enthusiasticly as they entered the living room, “This is Blaine, my... boyfriend.”
His father swallowed. “Your boyfriend?”
“My boyfriend.”
“Okay,” Burt shrugged, “Blaine, nice to meet you. I’m Burt.”
Blaine gave him a firm hand shake. “Blaine Anderson. Nice to meet you too.”
Kurt looked happy. His dad didn’t have any problem with the ‘boyfriend’ of it all, he didn’t embarrass him and he seemed to like Blaine. “We’d like to watch a movie in my room, Dad, is it okay if we go upstairs?”
“Sure. Same rules as Finn: door stays open.”
The boys nodded and went upstairs.
