It was 11pm when Blaine finally came home. He had been all around the world to promote his new movie and he’d only seen Kurt and Jason two times the last month. He wasn’t supposed to be home until tomorrow, but they’d finished early today and his manager had been able to reschedule his flight.
He entered their house, putting his suitcase aside before walking into the living room.
“Kurt?”
He looked around, but he didn’t see his husband anywhere. Blaine walked into their kitchen. He took a bottle of Coke before continuing to look for his husband.
“Kurt?”
And then Blaine saw Kurt again. With a knife in his hand. “Oh my god, Blaine! You weren’t supposed to be here yet! You scared me so much! I thought there were burglars or something!”
Blaine just ran to Kurt and pulled him, careful for the knife, into an embrace. Kurt put the knife aside as soon as he could and burried his face into Blaine’s neck.
“I’m so glad you’re back. I missed you so much.”
Blaine tried to pull his husband as close as he could and kissed his hair. “I missed you too, honey. I don’t... Next time you and Jase have to join me, I can’t miss you guys for that long.”
Kurt sighed happily, relaxing into the tight embrace. “I know, I know. Jason really missed his Dada and I missed my hubby.”
They moved to the couch, finally able to cuddle close together. And that was what they both had missed the most: being in each other’s arms.
Blaine smoothed his husband’s hair. “I love you.”
“I love you, too”, Kurt answered. He took Blaine’s hand and kissed his knuckles.
It was then when Jason started to cry. He slept 8 hours most nights, but sometimes he still woke up. Kurt suspected that Jason did that because he needed to be cuddled sometimes, just like his Dada.
“I’ll go get him”, Blaine said.

Blaine wouldn’t even deny it: he’d been quite happy when his son had started crying. Not because Jason was crying of course, but because he had an excuse to get the boy out of his bed and to finally hold him again.
Jason’s sobs were already subsiding when he saw Blaine coming in. He rubbed his eyes and stretched out his little arms. “Dada?”
A smile spread across Blaine’s face as soon as he heard that little voice. He picked up his son and started rocking him softly. “Hey baby boy,” he whispered, “I missed you so much!”
Jason fisted his Dada’s shirt and rested his little head against his chest. “I missed you too. You can not leave anymore. I don’t like that.”
“I won’t, sweetie,” he kissed him on the top of his head, “What do you think? Do you want to cuddle on the couch with the daddies? Would that make up for me being away so long?”
The boy nodded. “I like that.”

Kurt wasn’t even surprised when his husband came down, holding their son in his arms. That little guy had his father wrapped around his finger even before he was born. Blaine’d do anything to keep him happy, and Kurt loved him even more because of that. His husband was a great dad, and there was nobody in the world with whom he’d rather raise a kid.
Blaine smiled apologetically when he noticed Kurt’s smirk. “I thought we could cuddle a bit with him,” he reasoned, “He’s already drifting off again.”
Kurt just laid down on their couch and gestured for Blaine to join him.
Though it had been a while, they nestled into the couch as easily as they used to. Blaine’s back pressed against his man’s chest, both their arms held securely around Jason.
The little boy blinked, confused to see that he was already on the couch with his daddies. He looked up to his Daddy and smiled. “Dada’s back, Pappy.”
Kurt carressed his hair. “I know, sweetie! Pappy’s really happy!”
“I’m r’ly happy too, Pappy...”, he yawend, “I’m tired.”
“Go to sleep, sweetie,” Kurt whispered, “The daddies will still be here tomorrow.”
And so Jason drifted off, finally back in the arms of his Dada and Pappy.
