I hope you enjoyed it. Please leave reviews so I know what to fix for next time. Also, if you could check out my blog on Tumblr (klainecrisscolferchillfics), it would be greatly appreciated.
"I cant believe we have kept up with this tradition after all these years," Blaine smiles, taking his coffee from the barista and nodding before leaving a hefty tip.
"I can. We were always pretty good with routine. I mean, we still keep to our nightly skin care routine," Kurt chuckled.
"Do you think Anna is okay?" Blaine has been worried about their 8-year-old daughter since they got on the plane to come back to Lima.
"Okay, I realize that you still dont have complete confidence in Rachel after last time when Anna called about her endless Barbra Streisand marathon, but I think Rachel learned her lesson," Kurt paused for a second, "Maybe this time shell just sing the entire Funny Girl song list instead."
Panic came over Blaines face and he stopped dead in his tracks. Kurt stopped and turned to look at his husband, "Oh calm down! I was kidding!"
"Okay," Blaine started walking again, "but Im calling later to make sure."
"Understandable. Now come sit," Kurt patted the table he just sat down at. Blaine smiled, walking over and taking a seat.
"Remind me again why we come back here every year anyway," Blaine asked, "I mean I understand that this is where we first met, but its become a complete dump!"
"Yeah, but its our dump," Kurt joked, taking Blaines hand. "And when we were in high school, we could never do this." Kurt looked down at their joined hands.
"Yeah, youre right." Blaine smiled and considered something but decided not to speak.
"What is it? I know that look," Kurt stared at his husband.
"Its just-- Im so happy I met you in high school. I dont know how my life wouldve been without you."
"Easy; you wouldnt have had to leave Dalton and you wouldve met a nice, but considerably less well dressed boyfriend. Then you would have had a medicore marriage and died a mediocre death."
"And what will my death be like now?"
"Ill make sure your coffin is bedazzled. And knowing you, youll die while jumping up on a couch arm or coffee table."
"Hey," Blaine said, faking offense, "You know those are my moves."
Kurt laughed at the ridiculousness he was hearing from his husband. "Sure, sweetie."
Blaine smacked him playfully on the arm, "Drink your coffee, you little shit."
"Such foul language from such a dapper man."
Blaine leaned in to whisper in Kurts ear, "I think you know from last night that I can be less the dapper on occassion." A shiver ran through Kurt thinking about last night. No, he had to keep that out of his mind. No matter how much Ohio had progressed over the years, he didnt think anyone would apprectiate Kurt jumping Blaines bones right here and right now.
"Alright you, stop teasing and drink up. We have a date with Scandals after this." Scandals was another one of their anniversary routines.
Blaine groaned, "Seriously Kurt? Why? That wasnt a good night!"
"Yes, you got drunk off your ass and made out with Santana, but Id hope youd learn."
Blaine huffed out a sigh, "Fine, for you."
"Thank you," Kurt smiled and gave Blaine a quick kiss on the nose before starting to leave the coffee shop.
"Im not done my coffee yet!" Blaine yelled after him.
"Drink it on the way," Kurt yelled in response, "We have to go get ready to turn some heads!"
Blaine smiled and got up to follow his crazy husband. He didnt think he would ever get over how smitten he was with Kurt.
