“A medium drip and a grande non-fat mocha for this guy, and maybe I can get him to split one of those cupid cookies”

“You know my coffee order?” Don’t read into it, don’t read into it.

“Of course I do”

Kurt can’t help but read into it.

Blaine grabs the two coffees from the pick up point and they go to sit at there usual table beside the pillar. Ever since they sang ‘Baby it’s Cold Outside’ together something changed between the two teenage boys but neither could pluck up the courage to say so.

“So, do you really think he’ll like being serenaded with song?” Blaine had told Kurt just moments earlier that there was this guy that he kind of liked and wanted to serenade him with song on Valentines Day. Kurt thought that Blaine was talking about him so he was all for the idea.

“I think he’ll love it” Kurt hadn’t stopped smiling since Blaine had told him; of course he hadn’t noticed this.

“Do you think it was a bit too much?” Blaine and Kurt were sitting in the Lima Bean after the ‘Gap Attack’. Blaine serenaded Jeremiah, much to Kurt’s dismay, and Jeremiah rejected him and got fired. Blaine had noticed the sad look in Kurt’s eyes and was getting a little worried.

“What’s wrong, Kurt?”

Kurt looked up and saw the concern etched into Blaine’s hazel eyes.

“We hang out, sing flirty duets together, you know my coffee order. Was I really supposed to think that was nothing?” Blaine could hear the hurt in Kurt’s voice but was still confused as to what he was going on about; Kurt had noticed the confusion in Blaine’s facial expression and carried on. “When you said you wanted to serenade someone on Valentines Day, I thought that someone was me.” Kurt bluntly stated.

“Wow, I really am clueless” Kurt just nodded blankly.

Wait, Kurt likes me.

“I didn’t think you felt the same way” I didn’t even know I felt that way.

“What? Are you saying that you like me?” Kurt was surprised as he really wasn’t expecting this.

“Yeah I guess I am” He looked straight into Kurt’s eyes and that was when he realised that he didn’t just like Kurt, it was more than that. “No, I don’t like you” Kurt’s face changes into one of pain and anger, probably because Blaine had just got his hopes up. “No, Kurt, oh my god, I didn’t mean it like that. Of course I like you but it’s more than that, you’re more than that, what I’m trying to say is,” Oh my god I’m an idiot, why haven’t I noticed what’s right in front of me. “I’m in love with you Kurt, I hadn’t really known I was before and I think I must’ve sung to Jeremiah because deep down I did know how I felt about you but I thought there was no way you felt the same.” Blaine looked into Kurt’s eyes and could see a mixture of surprise and love but also some pain. “Please, Kurt. I know the Jeremiah thing must’ve hurt you. I’m sor-“ Blaine’s words were put to a halt when he could feel a slight pressure on his lips.

Kurt’s kissing me.

I’m Kissing Blaine. And he’s kissing me back. And he said he’s in love with me.

The kiss only last a few seconds because they both realised that they were sitting in a packed coffee house in the middle of Lima.

“I love you too.”

Blaine was the one to places his lips over Kurt’s this time, suddenly not bothering about the amount of people staring at them,  probably making snarky homophobic comments, they just didn’t care. The kiss lasted longer this time so they had time to explore each others mouths. Kurt was the one to pull away, and Blaine whimpered at the loss of contact, Kurt thought it was the most adorable sound ever.

“Blaine we’re in the middle of a coffee house in Ohio, we’ll get beat up if we keep making out and you know it” Blaine’s head hung because, yes he did know it. Kurt entwined his hand with Blaine’s anyway. “So, I love you, you love me, what happens now?”

“Well, Kurt Hummel. Do you want to be my boyfriend?” Blaine asked with hope in his voice still expecting rejection even after Kurt’s declaration of love.

“Of course I will.” And he pulled Blaine into a tight embrace whispering words of love into his ear, Blaine whispering them back.

“So do you want to go back to my dorm room, watch some Disney movies and finish what we started?” Blaine raised his eyebrow at the suggestive look on Kurt’s face.

“Yeah, that sounds like a plan” They walked out of Lima Bean, with their hands entwined, not caring about the stares from other people because they’re in love.
