Just Wanna Be With You
Blaine just really misses Kurt while he's away at school. Drabble.

The keys of the piano felt distant as his fingertips ran across them. It was a feeling that Blaine had gotten use to in the past month. Distance. Because ever since Kurt left him, ever since that boy took his heart with him all those miles, everything was distant. Everything felt too far away for him to grasp in his hands. It seemed like they would just slip through his fingers if he even tried.
Nothing was the same since Kurt, the love of his life, left him in this god forsaken town all alone. School wasn't the same, doing homework alone wasn't the same obviously, and even going to Lima Bean wasn't the same when you only order a Medium Drip, instead of the usual Medium Drip and a Grande Non-Fat mocha. And the worst thing of all was music. Music wasn't Blaine's escape any more. Because every song, every rhythm, every melody, and anything he tried to compose reminded him of Kurt and it hurt. It hurts to be alone. It hurts to be in love and not allowed to love them in the way you too.
Blaine's fingers began playing a familiar song. He tried not to let his emotions over power him. He tried to not let himself go. "We're being pulled a hundred different directions but whatever happens I know I got you. You're on my mind. You're in my heart."
Blaine felt the familiar lump rise in his throat as he sang. He didn't know why he felt so broken inside. They weren't done. It wasn't over. They were just apart for a certain amount of time. But it felt like forever. And forever is a long time when you're hurting. "It doesn't matter where we are. We'll be alright even when we're miles apart. All I wanna do is be with you, be with you."
Blaine's voice cracked as he sang now, his voice going in and out. "There's nothing we can't do. Just wanna be with you, only you. No matter where life takes us, nothing can break us apart. You know it's true. I just wanna be with you..."
Blaine's fingers slipped off the piano keys as he begins to cry. He missed Kurt so much. He just wants this year to be over so he can be with Kurt, never leaving his side, because he never wants to feel this pain again.
