Okay, so how was he going to do this? How was he going to tell his husband that he was pregnant? Did Blaine even want kid's? He knew that he loved children, they both did. But for some reason having kids was never really something they discussed. Plus Kurt always thought that if and when they did have children they would use a surrogate or adopt, he never in a million years that he would be pregnant.
It all happened about a month and a half ago. Kurt and Blaine had just come home from a romantic dinner for their one year wedding anniversary. As soon as they got home, they ended up in bed with their clothes scattered on their bedroom floor. They made love that night, later on just basking in each others presence not think about anything else but each other.
A week later Kurt went to the drug store to buy a pregnancy test. He really didn't think that it could be possible, but he thought that it wouldn't hurt to check. 30 minutes later, back at his and Blaine's apartment he stood their with a positive pregnancy test in his hand. It took him another week to get a doctors appointment to make sure it was really true. So now here he stands proof that he his pregnant, and he has to find a way to tell his husband.
Kurt thought of all different way's to tell Blaine. He could just come right out and say "I'm pregnant." Or he could show him the ultra sound. He could even sing him a song, but that honestly just sounded to cheesy even for them.
So Kurt thought that the best way to tell his husband that he was pregnant was to cook him his favorite dinner, and give him a present to let him know.
He just hoped that Blaine would be excited.
Blaine got home that from work around 7 p.m.
"Hey babe" said Blaine as he saw Kurt.
"Hey Huney" said Kurt.
"How was work?"
"It was good, long, but good."
"So what's all this",Blaine said pointing to the dinner and candles on their small kitchen table.
"Oh it's nothing, can't I just make a nice dinner for my husband, asked Kurt."
"Of course you can." said Blaine.
After dinner and the dishes were washed. Kurt and Blaine were laying on the couch. Kurt knew he had to tell Blaine sooner or later, he was going to find out eventually.
"So umm I have to tell you something."
"and i'm not really sure how you're going to take it." said Kurt.
" What is it?" asked Blaine.
" You know I love you, right?" asked Kurt.
" Of course I do, I love you too, more than anything."
" OK before i tell you what i'm about to tell you, you need to promise me that you wont freak out."
"Umm Kurt you're kind of freaking me out right now."
"just promise me Blaine, please"
"Okay I promise. What is it?"
" well I thought that showing you would be easier then telling you so I bought you a present."
Kurt handed Blaine a small square shaped box. Blaine just starred at it not knowing what to do.
"Go ahead, open it." said Kurt.
Blaine did, inside was a coffee mug.
"Umm..Thanks babe." but what does a coffee mug have to do with anything.
"Turn it around" said Kurt.
Blaine slowly turned the mug around to reveal the words "worlds greatest dad" on the front of the mug.
Blaine turned towards Kurt with tears in his eyes.
" A-are you serious?" said Blaine.
" yeah. I-I'm pregnant, about a month along."
"When did you find out?"
" A few days ago. I just was trying to find the right way to tell you."
" You're not mad, are you?"
" of course not baby." " I couldn't be happier." Said Blaine.
Blaine leaned in to gently, but passionately kiss Kurt.
" I love you so much." said Blaine, as he slowly pulled away from Kurt.
" I love you too."
" You are the best part of me Kurt Anderson-Hummel."
" and you are the best part of me Blaine Anderson-Hummel."
