Kurt jumped as he felt a tap of his shoulder. He turned round and was met with his boyfriend's grinning face. He closed his locker and turned to face him fully.
"Hey honey! You ready to go?" he asked, kissing Blaine on the cheek.
"In a minute. First, I have a surprise for you, and I'm certain you're going to love it" Blaine said, bouncing on the heels of his feet.
"You are adorable when you're excited, you know that?" Kurt laughed.
"Kuurtt, just close your eyes and hold out your hands!" Blaine said, the smile evident in his voice.
Kurt did as he was told, and felt something light being placed in his hands.
"Okay, now open!"
He looked down and gasped. "Blaine!" he screamed, thrwoing himself into his arms "Tickets for Les Mis! I've wanted to see that film for ages! How did you know?"
"Because I know you" Blaine smiled, returning the hug. "And, you've been so busy studying that I thought you deserved a break. Plus, when you have the most perfect, wonderful and amazing boyfriend, who wouldn't want to treat you?"
"You really are the world's best boyfriend" Kurt said, a smile playing the corner of his lips.
"Impossible. You see, I can't be the world's best boyfriend when I have the world's best boyfriend myself. The position has already been filled by somebody very deserving" Blaine said, giving Kurt a quick kiss. "Now, yours or mine?"
"Yours" Kurt said after some consideration. "We've been to mine every day this week. I love my family, but it would be nice to just have some time to ourselves"
"Mine it is" Blaine smiled lovingly, taking Kurt's hand in his as they walked towards his car.

"Come on, Blaine! We have to get the seats at the back because you can see the screen best there and it has the best sound!" Kurt explained as he dragged Blaine to the back corner seats.
They sat down, and Blaine took in his surroundings. "Kurt. When you said that we had to be early to get the best seats, I think you went a bit overboard. We're the only people here"
"Oh shush you" Kurt smirked, poking out his tongue.
Soon, people started piling into the cinema. The lights dimmed and the film began. Blaine took Kurt's hand in his and settled down into the seat, watching the men pulling the ropes of the boat. He looked at Kurt, who had the happiest grin on his face. I put that smile thereBlaine thought, turning back to the screen.

Kurt whimpered as Gavroche was shot, hiding his face in Blaine's chest and tucking his legs up on the chair. Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt and whispered words of comfort in his ear.
"Shh, it's okay, it's okay, it's not real, don't worry"
"B-But he's just so young!" Kurt sobbed, gripping Blaine's shirt and crying into his chest as Gavroche fell to the ground.
"Oh, baby, please don't cry, it's okay, I'm here, it's all alright" Blaine whispered, running his hands up and down Kurt's back soothingly, kissing his head.
Soon, Kurt's sobs turned into sniffles, but he was way too comfortable, so he kept his position of his legs tucked up underneath him and his head leaning on Blaine's chest. Blaine kept his arms around Kurt, enjoying the feeling of him being there. Every so often, he would kiss Kurt's hair, nuzzling into him.
"HEY!"
Everyone turned round to see where the voice was coming from, and saw a man standing in the rown in front of Kurt and Blaine, staring pointedly at them.
"You two, fags! Quit cuddling and take your faggy activities somewhere else!"
"Excuse me?" Blaine asked, dumbfounded
"I said, take your faggyactivities, somewhere else! This is family film, and I don't want my kids seeing that! I'm trying to teach them good life values, and even your presence is throwing all of that out of the window! Go watch Brokeback Mountain or something"
That's when Blaine snapped. He was willing to let this slide, he understood that even if people were going out of their way to be rude about his sexuality, everyone had their own opinions, and he had to respect that, be the bigger man, but that was just so stereotypical. He stood up and faced the man.
"No, I won't go watch Brokeback Mountain. You do realise that gay people don't sit around watching Brokeback Mountain all of the time just because it's a film about gay cowboys? I myself haven't seen it in over a year! We're here because I bought my boyfriendhere because he loves this musical and I wanted to do something nice for him. You know why? Because, even though this may shock you, I love him! I love him more than the sun, the earth, the moon, hell, the whole of space, all galaxies and solar systems included! I love him more than words can ever describe, even what I just said isn't enough to show how much I love him. I love him so much it physically hurts. When I look at him, I get this ache in my heart, and it pounds against my chest. I know, just from looking at him, that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. I want to propose to him some day, with roses, candles and music, hell, I even know the place, but I won't say that because I don't want to ruin the surprise for him. I want to move to New York with him, I want to marry him there, I want to have kids with him, I want to watch those kids have kids of their own so that we can become grandparents with him, I want to grow old with him, I want to spend the rest of my life with him. You know, one day, he's going to be a huge Broadway star, and at every show he's in, I'm going to be there, front row, and I'm going to point to him and say "that's my boyfriend", or "that's my fiance", and one day, I'm going to point to him and say "that's my husband". I am so proud of him, and I'm proud of us. I'm proud of what we've done, what we've shown people, that it's okay to be whoever you want to be. So, if you don't mind, I'm going to sit back down and watch this film with the love of my life, I'm going to hold him in my arms, kiss his perfectly soft hair, hold his hand, stroke his back, and you know what, I might just do this!" Blaine pulled Kurt up and brought their lips together in an intense, heated kiss, their lips moving together in sync, slotting together perfectly. Blaine snaked his arms around Kurt, and was overjoyed when he felt Kurt's arms wrap around him. They pulled apart, but kept their arms around each other. Blaine turned his head back to the man and grinned. "Isn't he just perfect?" he said, and sat back down, cuddling Kurt as close as possible to him.
"I am so sorry" Blaine whispered in Kurt's ear, tightening his grip around him.
"Hey, why are you sorry?" Kurt whispered, nuzzling his face into Blaine's chest.
"Because I just embarrased you. I'm so, so sorry, I always have to draw attention to myself, it's just, I wanted to protect you, and he was getting me so mad" Blaine panicked.
"You didn't embarrass me! You were my big, strong man, and you showed him just how amazing you are. I think I fell in love with you even more when you said all of that, and I didn't think that was possible. I love you Blaine Anderson, so, somuch"
Blaine hooked a finger under Kurt's chin and tilted his head up, kissing him gently. "I love you too Kurt Hummel. Words can't describe my love for you"
They smiled lovingly at each other and turned back to the film, Blaine enjoying the feel of Kurt in his arms, and Kurt enjoying being in Blaine's arms.

Blaine walked Kurt home, swinging their hands between them.
"Listen, Blaine, I just wanted to thank you for what you did back there. It was really brave" Kurt said, looking at Blaine shyly.
"It was nothing. I just wanted to protect you, he was saying these things and....I don't know, it just felt like second nature, standing up for you, for our rights. I did it because I love you" Blaine said, bringing their intertwined hands to his lips and kissing them gently.
"And there we go. I just fell in love with you even more again. You find new ways of surprising me every day" Kurt laughed.
"Good ways?" Blaine asked.
"The best" Kurt replied, smiling at his boyfriend. "Well, this is me" he said as they stopped outside his house.
"I love you" Blaine whispered, kissing Kurt softly.
"Words can't describe" Kurt whispered back, walking to his door. As he went inside his house, he watched Blaine walk away, and sighed. Words really couldn't describe their love.

This was really good. Protective and loving Blaine is the best. It was so great to see him stand up to that ignorant man and tell him just why he loved Kurt and about the future he planned to have and that he wouldn't let hateful people stand in their way. I look forward to reading your future stories.
I'm glad you liked it :D As for future stories, I noticed that I seemed to be neglecting my multi-chapters, since I'd been working on one-shots, so I'm going to focus on them for a bit, but if you want to read them, they're called Opposites Attract and I'm A Celebrity.....Get Me Out Of Here! If you do end up reading them, I hope you like them :)
I really loved your story. I absolutly adore Kurt. So any story with Blaine taking care of my baby, Kurt, is good :) Blaine was so sweet and brave standing up for Kurt. Great story.
Aww, thanks, I'm glad you liked it :D
wow...i think hurricane blaine just shook me to my core! well done :) although, i have one critique. about the man that blaine went all lima heights on. clearly, he's a homophobic arse. it felt like after blaine exploded, i was left hanging. i was waiting for the arse's reaction–even something as simple as "the man shot a disgusted look and blaine and kurt as he grabbed both of his kids' hands. he stormed out of the cinema with both kids in tow." something like this would have, imo, made the story a little more complete. unless you left it open for a follow up or one shot where blaine and kurt run into the man and his family again, at a later time, and have to deal with the fallout from the cinema :) d=g
I didn't write in his reaction a) because it was focused on Kurt and Blaine at that moment, and how they dealt with the situation, and b) he was probably too shocked to have a reaction. As for the follow up fic, I'm not planning on writing it, but if you want to, that's cool with me, just put where that it's a follow up to this in the description with the name of the fic I wrote and my author name. Thanks :)
