Kurt and Blaine's relationship is just starting out and they've had their first big fight. Now it's 3 A.M and Blaine just can't fall asleep without talking to his love.
Blaine rolled onto his stomach and looked at his bedside table where his phone rested. He groaned and buried his face into one of the many pillows on his bed.
"Come on Blaine, just go to sleep." He whispered to himself, "Stop thinking about it. Stop thinking about him. Just sleep."
He stayed silent for a few minutes clenching his eyes shut, waiting to fall asleep at any second. But he didn't.
"UGHH!" He groaned loader as he sat up in his bed.
He ran a hand threw his messy curls and looked at his alarm clock. 3 A.M.
"You have to be shitting me." He groggily whispered.
He reached for his phone and quickly typed in Kurt's number. He felt weak but he had to. He just had to talk to him.
"Please pick up, please pick up, please pick up." Blaine chanted to himself as the phone rang in his ear.
On the fourth ring he heard Kurt's tired voice, "Blaine?"
Blaine felt relief go through his entire body. He smiled to himself at how adorable Kurt sounded when he just woke up.
"Kurt? Hey. I'm sorry for calling you at this hour but-" Blaine trailed off.
"But what?" Kurt said dully. He sounded pretty upset still.
"But I- I can't sleep. I can't stop thinking about you and what happened today." Blaine said quietly. He heard Kurt's soft, steady breathing on the other side of the phone, "You still there?" He lightly chuckled.
"Yeah. I'm still here." Kurt barely whispered, "Why are you calling me, Blaine?"
There was a long silence. Blaine felt like he was going to burst into tears at any second. They had never had one fight before this and he didn't know what to do at all.
Blaine took a deep breath, "Darling..." He started, "I just wanted to tell you that you mean everything... and I'm so sorry. And I don't want to fight anymore because... well because I love you t-too m-much." He felt the warm sting of tears in his eyes, "I just don't want to ruin things. Kurt, please don't be angry with me anymore. Please?"
Silence.
Blaine heard Kurt on the other line, sniffling.
"Kurt?"
"Blaine Anderson you just said you loved me." Kurt's voice was shaky and nervous.
"I did." Blaine said.
"Is that true? You love me?" Kurt's voice cracked.
"It is. I do love you, Kurt. I'd do anything for you." Blaine felt hot tears pouring down his cheeks.
"Blaine, I love you too."
Even though Blaine couldn't see him, he knew he was smiling. He could hear it in his voice, so he smiled too.
"I don't ever want to fight with you again, okay? I really am sorry." Blaine said after a few moments.
"I'm sorry too, Blaine." He heard a soft yawn from Kurt.
"Go back to sleep, darling." Blaine whispered into the phone.
"Okay." Kurt sleepily said.
"Okay." Blaine repeated.
"Wait, Blaine?" Kurt said.
"Yes?"
"This isn't a dream right?"
Blaine slightly giggled, "Definitely not."
"Good. I love you."
"I love you too."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight, love."
