Blaine can't remember the last time he's ever felt like this. The feeling of complete and total happiness buzzing through him. He's beginning to become convinced that if he doesn't stop smiling his face may actually stay that way forever, the pain in his cheeks making him believe it even more.
It all started with two simple words
Excuse me.
A simple question.
Um, hi, can I ask you a question? I'm new here.
And a name.
Kurt.
And that's Blaine got to where he was now, which is dancing around his dorm room while belting out the lyrics to 'I've Just Seen A Face' by The Beatles. He's appreciative in moments like this that his roommate is almost always out. He needs this time to sing loudly and release the energy that's currently buzzing through him.
I've just seen a face
I can't forget the time or place where we just met
He's just the boy for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mm mm mm mm mm
Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
And I'd have never been aware,
But as it is I'll dream of him tonight
Da da da da da da
Falling, yes I am falling,
And he keeps calling me back again
I have never known the like of this,
I've been alone and
I have missed things and kept out of sigh,
For other boys were never quite like this,
Da da da da da da
Falling, yes I am falling,
And he keeps calling me back again
I've just see a face,
I can't forget the time or place where we just met
He's just the boy for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mm mm mm mm mm
Falling, yes I am falling
And he keeps calling me back again
"Blaine," Wes's voice is still in the authoritative voice he uses as Warblers meetings. But Blaine knows he's about to tease him just by the smile on his face. "Just call the guy before you break your neck while jumping from bed to bed."
Blaine scrambles off the bed to run to turn off the music. He can feel a blush being to form up his neck and on his cheeks.
"You could hear that? And, and see that?" Blaine asks, only making himself blush more.
Wes laughs loudly, probably louder than Blaine has ever heard him laugh during his time at Dalton.
"Yes, Blaine, I saw that. You left the door wide open." He says, sticking his arms out and motioning to the open doorway that he's currently standing in.
Blaine throws himself on his bed, burying his face into his pillow. He gives Wes a thumbs up when he says something again about how Blaine just needs to call Kurt. Wes lingers longer than Blaine wants him to, going on about how Blaine doesn't need to be straining his voice like that when they have competitions coming up soon. Blaine keeps his face buried in his pillow, not wanting to look Wes in the eye just yet. When Wes finally says his goodbyes, Blaine just lifts his hand up to wave goodbye.
Blaine only allows himself to get his face out of his pillow and off his bed to run and shut the door before finally making that phone call to Kurt.

"Blaine? Are you still with me?" Kurt asks, waving his hand in front of Blaine's face.
Blaine shakes his head, removing himself from the memory and placing himself back in reality. He squeezes Kurt's hand before twirling the engagement ring that rests on Kurt's ring finger with his thumb.
The restaurant they sit in is loud and over crowded, but that's expected seeing as it's Friday night. However, over the loud chatter and clanking of plates, Blaine can still here the song that's playing and can't help but smile.
"It's just," he beginnings, laughing at little at himself. "There's a funny story behind this song."
