Weather man said it’s gonna snow

By now I should be used to the cold

Blaine stood up of the couch where he and Kurt were under the covers snuggling and looked out the window, it was the first snow in New York that they had seen since they moved there together.
"Come look!" He sounded like an excited child.
Kurt stretched his arms out and stood up and walked over to the window to see the snow falling with Blaine. Kurt looked over at Blaine who looked like he was as excited as a four year old on Christmas morning.  But the snow and the cold air coming off the window was a little too cold for Kurt. He shivered and walked back over to the couch to go back under the blankets.
"Are you cold?"  Blaine turned around from the window with a smoldering smile on his face. The kind of face that reminded Kurt of Flynn Rider from Tangled.
"MmHm." Kurt nodded, now he sounded like the little kid.
"Well we're gonna have to fix that aren't we?" Blaine ran over and practically tackled Kurt on the couch and then proceeded to tangle his legs with Kurts and put his head on Kurt's chest.
Mid-February shouldn’t be so scary
Kurt was pretty sure that Blaine couldn't top himself in the valentines day department after the singing and dancing to 'Love Shack' at Breadstix. But every year he out did himself more. And now after five years of doing it Kurt was literally at a loss for what he could do to top all of the rest.
But Blaine knew he was expecting him to do something huge, so he changed it up.
After they had both been sitting on the floor of their appartment looking at old pictures of them from high school -even thought it had only been few years they still liked to look-  Blaine stood up off the floor and looked down at Kurt.
Kurt, who was laying down on the floor on his stomach, looked up at Blaine. "What are you doing?"
Blaine didn't answer him, he just let one knee hit the floor and answer that for him. "Kurt, ever since the day you came to Dalton to be a horrible spy," Kurt laughed at him. Was this really happening?! Was he being proposed to?! But he stopped the thoughts in his head so he  could hear what else Blaine was saying.
"And now, we live together and I wouldn't wanna be with anyone else..will you marry me?"
Kurt opened his mouth but nothing was coming out. He just nodded his head quickly and then collapsed into Blaine's arms hugging him. "I love you so much.." Blaine whispered into the top of Kurt's head.
It was only DecemberI still remember the presents, the tree, you and me
Blaine walked down the street with his fingers intertwined with Kurt's. He looked underneath the front door of their favorite coffee shop. There was a small display of mistletoe hanging from the bell that rang when you opened the door. He looked at it and then back at Kurt with a mischevious grin.
He grabbed Kurt by the arm and ran over to the door and stood over it. Kurt still didn't know what was going on.
"Look up."
Kurt looked up then over at Blaine. Blaine stood infront of him with his lips puckered up like a duck with one eye cracked open to see if Kurt could see him, but the other one closed as if he was expecting him to kiss him.
Kurt rolled his eyes and pulled Blaine into his chest and kissed him for a breif time. "Now come on, we're not done christmas shopping." He grabbed Blaine's hand, walking down the busy street with him."

But you went away
"It's just a few weeks.." Kurt assured Blaine while kissing him goodbye at the airplane terminal.
How dare you?I miss you
Blaine was really at a loss on what to do while Kurt was away. He was only supposed to be gone for a couple of weeks. But he was in France. He was happy they liked his designs and all. But he couldn't stand how far apart they were, they'd never been that far away from eachother.
They say I’ll be OKBut I’m not going to ever get over you
"I love you, but I really gotta go Blaine.. They need me in the conference room okay? I promise I'll get back to you.."
"I love you t-"  The phone call ended before he could finish his words.
Living alone here in this placeI think of you, and I’m not afraid
Blaine strolled around the appartment, he was done feeling sorry for himself, Kurt would be back soon and he would be fine. He decided he was going to clean up a little bit. The whole time he was cleaning he would find little notes that Kurt had left him before he left saying that he 'couldn't wait to come home and see him again' or simply 'I love you.'
Blaine was going to be okay for another week of him being gone.
Your favorite records make me feel betterCause you sing alongWith every songI know you didn’t mean to give them to me.
Blaine looked at pile of things on the floor of Kurt's closet, it must have been the things he couldn't fit in his suit cases. He went through the whole entire pile. There was everything from hoodies to designer sweaters to at the bottom of the pile Kurt's favorite CD. Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' album.
Blaine picked it up and put it in the stereo. He hoped listening to it would make the time go by faster. It would only be a few more days until he got to see Kurt again.
But you went awayHow dare you?I miss you
Nothing seemed right about the look on the police officer's face who was standing infront of Kurt and Blaine's appartment. Blaine led him in the door and the words came spilling out of his mouth. "Sir, your boyfriends-"
"Fiance." Blaine was quick to correct him.
"Your fiance's plane crashed..there were." He choked on his own words "There were no survivors."
Blaine stood in the middle of his living room with no words. He couldn't even open his mouth. He felt his knees give out underneath him and he felt his whole body hit the floor in a loud thump. But he didn't even really feel that. It was just numb.
Kurt. The beautiful person that Blaine had fallen for when he was a sophmore. The person that he was supposed to be getting married to. The person who held him whenever he had a bad dream about the bullies that were so far gone anyway. The person who got up and made him pancakes on Saturdays just to make him happy. The person who helped him study every night for finals for college. The person who took care of him everytime he was sick, even if that meant him getting whatever was wrong with Blaine too. The person he loved.
Gone.
Never to be seen again.
They say I’ll be OKBut I’m not going to ever get over you
Blaine stood in the very back of the funeral home. He couldn't even look at Kurt. He knew he was going to be in horrible shape after the crash. He couldn't do it.
He shook with sobs while he pressed all his weight against the back wall of the room and slid down with his head in his hands. He couldn't stop crying. Thats all he'd done in the last few days and the thought he would be able to stop long enough to be around people but he couldn't.
He felt someone put their hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Finn with red-rimmed eyes.
"It's gonna be okay.." He said, sounding like he was trying to reassure not only Blaine but himself.
And Blaine wanted so bad to stand up and yell at him. And tell him that it's not going to be okay and that there would never be another person like this to come into his life and he would never be the same. But instead he just stood up and practically walked into Finn's chest. Finn embraced him with both arms and clutched him so tight it hurt. But they were both crying now and they didn't care.
It really sinks in, you know, when I see it in stoneThey say I’ll be OKBut I’m not going to ever get over you.
Three years later Blaine stands infront of a stone in Lima Ohio that says 'Kurt Hummel-Anderson'.
Blaine wipes a few stray tears off his face. He knows he'll never find anyone like Kurt ever again. He'll never be as happy as he was.
But for some reason he feels like maybe he could find someone that could make him happy.
But he'll never forget the blue-eyed boy he met on the stairs at Dalton.
