Kurt snuck in the front door, closing the door practically silently behind him. He padded over down the hallway to the kitchen where Blaine was sitting at the table quietly reading. Kurt walked behind him and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. 

Blaine turned around quickly to see his husband smiling back at him. 

"Oh my God!" He jumped and turned to wrap his arms around Kurt. "I thought you weren't coming home for another week.." 

"I couldn't stand to be away from home much longer." He sighed with a small smile on his face. 

"You can't just skip important things!" Blaine's eyes were wide. 

"It's fine..They told me that I didn't need to stay longer..And aren't you happy i'm back?" 

"Very..Three months is way too long.." Blaine whispered into Kurt's neck. 

"I won't ever leave that long again.." Kurt mumbled.  pulling away from Blaine to only come closer and kiss his husband again. 

"Da?" The small voice came from the baby monitor conveniently placed on the kitchen table next to where Blaine had been reading. The name was repeated one more time before small whimpers, that turned into cries. 

"He's missed you so much.." Blaine gave Kurt a small smile. Kurt kissed him on the forehead before walking back to his son's room. 

The one year old was standing , holding himself up by the bars on the side of the wodden crib. A few tears were running down his small face. "Daa." He whimpered, now no longer crying. 

Kurt picked him up and held him much like a newborn. "Hey buddy, don't cry.." 

Ben started to smile up at him, seeing that it was not the dad he'd expected to come comfort him. "Hi buddy.." He gave him a small smile. 

Ben grippd Kurt's shoulders and pulled his small body closer to Kurt's. "I've missed you so much..You and daddy." 

Blaine was sitting on the couch watching his flawless husband walk into the room with their son. 

Kurt looked down at the toddler yawning in his arms. "I'm sorry I woke you up.." adjusted the way he was holding Ben. The small boy grabbed Kurt's shirt and nuzzled himself further into his father's chest. 

"He missed you so much." Blaine finally spoke, his throat tight. 

Kurt nodded. Feeling tears come to his eyes. He'd missed Ben and Blaine more than words could even describe. The three months he was gone were the worst of his life. 

He sat down on the leather couch next to Blaine and looked up at him. 

Blaine opened his mouth to speak but closed it, opting to just lean forward and kiss his husband. They're lips stayed connected for several seconds, Blaine's tongue making it's way into his husband's mouth. Blaine leaned closer to Kurt, sighing loudly in aproval, when Ben stirred in Kurt's arm with a whimper. 

Kurt immediately drew his attention to the one year old who's eyes were slightly opened. 

"Da.." He whimpered and clung tighter to Kurt than he'd previously been. 

"Hey..It's okay buddy..I'm not going anywhere..I'll never leave you like that again.." 

Blaine listened to what his husband was saying and hoped it was true. 

Kurt looked up at Blaine. 

"I promise."
