Author's Notes: It's basically based on the cards scene from Love, Actually and some spoilers we got about the Christmas episode! Enjoy :)
Christmas came around and took over Manhattan. Streets filled with brown slush. Buildings decorated with colourful lights. Adult and children playing, singing, being together. It was a very peaceful moment in New York City. Across the city through central park lies an apartment complex. Within the apartment lived a man. His roommate has left him to join her parents on a cruise during her winter break. The tall man with glistening blue eyes and silky chestnut hair was putting the finishing touches of the apartment that currently consisted of cheesy, typical, Christmas dcor. The man drank his Medium Drip and sighed. The taste was all too familiar for him. It has been three months since he has last tasted the flavour on the lips of someone he once loved. The memory brought back the tears he thought had left him all those months ago. He quickly wiped away his tears and disposed his drink. Before placing his mug into the sink, he looked around the apartment and mumbled to himself. “Merry Christmas, Hummel.” Kurt started cleaning the mug and whatever was in the sink and started to sing Baby, its Cold Outside; “I really can’t stay…”

“But baby its cold outside.”

That voice. That all too familiar voice had startled Kurt. He dropped whatever he was cleaning and looked around the apartment. He sang the second line as he walked around the area. “I’ve got to go away…”

“But baby its cold outside.”

There is it again! This time, Kurt knew where the mysterious voice came from. He quickly shuffled towards the front door and slid it open, revealing a man with gelled hair and eyes that looked like he hadn’t been sleeping for weeks. On one hand, he was holding a small bear wearing a Santa hat and with “I’m sorry.” Written on its stomach. On the other, it seems like he was holding poster boards.

“Blaine! What are you-“Kurt was interrupted as Blaine reached the bear out for Kurt to take. Kurt held the bear and smiled as Blaine lifted the boards, with something written on each board.

[I know you hate me for what I did but hear me out. Or at least read what I have to say. I’m sorry. I am so sick of apologizing but I really am sorry, Kurt. I love you. Just because it’s Christmas, (and at Christmas you tell the truth.) My heart will always love YOU. To me you are the only one who can hold my heart. To me you are perfect. I will love you until the day we die.]

Kurt smiled and looked at Blaine with a smile on his face and a glow in his heart. He was reminded on why he loved Blaine. Why he wants to be with him forever. Why he never wants to let him go.

“This evening has been, so very nice.” Kurt’s voice cracked while singing the last few words. He chuckled and Blaine reached out to hold Kurt’s hand. He smiled and said “I am sorry, Kurt. I never intended to hurt you like that. I-“ Blaine started to tear up and Kurt placed a finger on his lips. “Shh.. Blaine, that’s all in the past. Let go of your regrets. Just like what Teenage Dream says; no regrets, just love.” Kurt whispered . He wrapped his arms around Blaine’s neck and leaned in to plant a short, soft kiss onto Blaine’s lips. Blaine rested his hands on Kurt’s hips and smiled as they pulled away. “Merry New York Christmas, Kurt.” Blaine joked. Kurt giggled and said “The first of many.”

Blaine went out in the hall and collected the rest of his things and entered Kurt and Rachel’s apartment. Not long after, somebody knocked on the door and the sound echoed the room. Kurt gave Blaine a questioning look and went to answer the door.

“Dad! I thought your flight was cancelled until tomorrow?!” Kurt exclaimed, hugging his father and allowing him to enter the apartment. Burt Hummel shook his head. “Nope. The flight came earlier than I expected for it to be.” He explained, nodding his head towards Blaine. “So did you like my present?” He asked his son. Kurt looked around the room. “Present? What did you get me?” He wondered.

“Blaine, of course!”
