Author's Notes: First fic in the Splinters series, the sequel to Come Home.Blaine and Kurt's wedding day. Nothing but pure, fluffy Klaine schmoop.Enjoy.

Blaine looked around; he was stood at the front of the stage, waiting for Kurt to walk down through the doors at the rear of the auditorium up to meet him onstage. The place had been decked out with white-silver sheeting along the walls, lighting the normally dark place up and decorations in blue, silver, black and gold were all over the room. Balloons had been banned.

Blaine looked at the guests sitting in the audience chairs, a mix of their friends from High School, the New Directions, Kurt’s colleagues and friends from LA, Blaine’s college and social friends which were also by now Kurt’s and Kurt’s his too and of course their family. Carole was sat in the front row between Mr. Schue and Cooper, crying openly. He smiled nervously at her and Cooper and looked at Sam stood next to him who gave him a cheesy smile and two thumbs up. Blaine chuckled quietly and looked at the doors nervously.

The band struck up and the New Directions stood, starting to sing a slow version of Pink’s Perfect, their song. Blaine took a deep breath and watched the doors open, his eyes connected with Kurt’s and the world fell away. Kurt was wearing a light lavender blue suit lined with silvery edging that complimented Blaine’s black suit edged with silver, it gave him an ethereal air, he was smiling shyly, and as nervous as Blaine was as he held onto Burt’s arm. The older man looked like he’d been crying and was watching where he was going on the steps, trying not to trip. Finn was walking after them, grinning at Blaine between his step-dad and brother.

Kurt and Burt finally came to a stop beside Blaine and Finn stepped to Kurt’s side opposite Sam. They turned to the officiant and he nodded to Burt who then handed Kurt’s left hand to Blaine. The older man nodded at Blaine and smiled before walking to his seat beside Carole and sitting down.

The two men held each other’s eyes, smiling at each other, the words of the officiant washing over them until they got to the I do’s. Finally they got to the vows and the officiant spoke to the audience. “Kurt and Blaine have written their own vows and will speak them now, to each other and for you, their friends and loved ones to hear.”

Blaine took a deep breath, his eyes wet, happiness shining in them. “Kurt, you captured me the day we met, you astound me. Your strength, your beauty, your love, you did things I could never have imagined before meeting you and showed me I could do anything. The day you left I fell apart, I slowly put myself back together but when you came back I was truly healed. Today I become Blaine Hummel and I couldn’t think of a better man to marry and family to join. You join us together, Kurt and I’m honoured to be yours. I, Blaine Anderson promise love you without question, understand you without judgement, trust you with my heart, life and soul, to worship you with every piece of my heart and body and hold your hand, leading the standing ovation forever.” He slipped the platinum bland onto Kurt’s finger and kissed it.

Kurt blinked back tears, his voice high and shaky. “Blaine, you have made me so proud to be yours, you have stood by my side and watched me as I changed from a bullied, pained, fabulous but broken boy into a strong, happy man knowing I was able to be loved by someone as special, gorgeous, loving, adorable and fabulous as you. We are the perfect couple, but beyond that we’re each other’s best friend. You made me believe in love. The day I left was the worst day of my life. I hurt you and our family but I broke everything I’d ever said and promised. The day I came back I realised what I’d missed and done and we rebuilt our love on stronger ground. Today we stand here on the stage we’ve stood on so many times and I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. I love you so much Blaine. You’re my perfect, handsome, brave, curly-haired, silly, breath-taking boyfriend and I’m so honoured to be your husband. I, Kurt Hummel promise to promise love you without question, understand you without judgement, trust you with my heart, life and soul, to worship you with every piece of my heart and body and hold your hand, leading the standing ovation and to have you with me wherever I go and wherever I go that you can’t follow, to always come back.” He then slipped the matching platinum band onto Blaine’s finger and kissed it like Blaine had to his.

The officiant’s voice rang through the audience, many weeping at the loving words. “Blaine and Kurt have spoken their vows to each other and have promised their lives to each other. You, their family have witnessed and sit with the promise to watch their lives together unfold and help them fulfil their promises. I now pronounce you Kurt and Blaine Hummel, you may kiss.”

Kurt and Blaine grinned at each other and leant in, their lips connecting and kissing deeply as their friends and family gave them a standing ovation, whooping and cheering them.

The newly married couple walked back up the steps, out of the auditorium, through the school halls and out of the school they’d once spent a year sharing their love years ago, their family and friends following them.

Hours later they lay in their bedroom, the house empty apart from them. Burt and Carole had gone to a hotel to give them time alone before going on their honeymoon. Kurt looked around the almost empty room, so many memories sealed within the walls. Blaine sighed happily against his chest, sweat cooling on their skin.

Kurt looked down lovingly at his husband. Husband, the title seemed so strange, but so perfect. Blaine was finally his husband. He leant don and kissed Blaine softly. “So, that was amazing.”

Blaine looked up, a smirk spread across his face. “What we just did or the wedding?”

Kurt smiled. “The whole day baby. Our wedding, the reception, what we just did. I’ll remember this forever. So many memories in these walls,”

Blaine lifted himself up, pushed Kurt flat onto the bed and leered over him. “Let’s make some more, my gorgeous husband.” The honey-eyed man lowered himself down, sealing his lips against Kurt’s, kissing him deeply and pulling the covers over them, chuckling evilly as Kurt giggled.

The only sound over the rustling of the bed sheets and the quiet, breathless moans, was the chink of metal against metal.
