Author's Notes: I have no idea where this came from, but I kind of like it.

Blaine stared at his husband sadly, wishing that he could feel something other than camaraderie for the man. They had a house, a dog, a white picket fence, and four years of a relationship holding them together. If only their relationship wasn’t based on lies.

“Chandler, could you pass me the salt please?” Blaine asked politely. God, he hated how he had to talk to his own husband like a second cousin.

“Of course, dear.” Pleasantries were exchanged along with the salt. That was the usual end of dinner conversation.

Forks clinked against good china. Food was eaten. Drinks were sipped.

“So, I spoke to Kurt today. You know, Kurt Hummel.” Chandler’s tone was light, as if this conversation wasn’t completely out of the blue.

“Did you?” Blaine said, voice an octave too high. “And what did he say?”

“He asked how you were. He also wanted to know if you’d maybe want to get together sometime.” Silence. “Blaine, are you cheating on me?”

“No! Of course not!”

“Do you regret marrying me?”

“Chandler, where is this all coming from?”

Chandler sighed, obviously frustrated. “Your eyes lit up the moment I said Kurt’s name, Blaine! It’s obvious who you love. You never look at me like that. Never.”

“Of course I do. You just haven’t been looking at the right times.”

“Remember what you told me about your parents? How they had a loveless marriage that was made up of making money to support the children they never paid attention to and the house they rarely stayed in anyway?” Blaine nodded. “That’s what we’re becoming. In fact, that’s all we’ve ever been.”

Blaine shuddered slightly, staring fixedly at his peas. He’d never wanted to be compared to his parents. But that’s exactly what was happening.

“What do you want me to do, Chandler?” Blaine asked softly.

“I want you to see Kurt again. Maybe go out for a drink. He’s single, you know. And in the meantime, I want a divorce. We both deserve happy endings.”

Blaine smiled slightly. “I don’t regret meeting you, you know.”

"I know. I don't either."

End Notes: Reviews make me happy :D
