“What’s taking him so long?” Kurt thinks to himself. Blaine left a few hours ago to get coffee and Kurt was starting to worry. “Sure, Blaine sometimes gets sidetracked when he goes somewhere without me, he’s never been gone for so long without texting me.” Kurt’s worries were lifted a bit when his phone started playing Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’, telling him that Blaine was calling. “Honey, is everything-” Kurt started but was interrupted by a woman on the other end of the line.
“Sir, this is Catherine, I am an EMT for the New York Hospital Queens,” the woman – Catherine informed him.
“Oh my goodness, what happened? Is my husband okay?” Kurt asked frantically.
“There has been a devastating crash so were taking your partner to the ER. If you could meet us there to fill out some insurance forms it would be greatly appreciated,” Catherine said calmly.
“Sure, I’m on my way there now,” Kurt speedily answered before hesitating and saying, “thank you for calling and telling me it means a lot to me.”
“It’s no problem sir,” Catherine replied. Kurt hung up the phone and practically running out the front door, grabbing his coat and car keys on the way out, and jumping into his car And slamming his key into the ignition in his rush to get to the hospital. Kurt arrived at the hospital a few minutes later and all but ran into the front lobby of the ER.
Kurt approached the front desk and said, “My name is Kurt Anderson-Hummel, I’m here to see my husband and fill out his insurance papers his name is, Blaine Anderson-Hummel.”
“Ah, Mr. Anderson-Hummel, you’re partner arrived a few seconds ago. You can see him when the doctors stabilize his conditions, in the mean time could you please fill out his paper work?” the receptionist said pleasantly, handing him a few papers on a clipboard along with a pen.
A few minutes after Kurt completed and returned the paperwork a nurse entered the waiting room and asked, “Mr. Anderson-Hummel?” Kurt stood and met his gaze. “His condition has been stabilized but it is unknown if he will make it and he has been informed of that possibility, but you may see him now.”
Kurt nodded and muttered a, “Thanks” to the nurse as he showed him to Blaine’s room. When Kurt entered the room and saw Blaine, He rushed to his love’s side and pressed a tender kiss on his forehead.
Being awoken by the gentle brush of lips against his bruised forehead, Blaine reached for his loving husband’s hand and asked, “Kurt?”
Startled by the tender huskiness in Blaine’s voice Kurt jumped and said, “I’m here honey, and I always will be.”
With great effort Blaine cracked his eyes to gaze at his husband and said seriously, “I want you to promise me that, if I don’t make it, you’ll to be happy without me and move on.”
Startled by his husbands words, Kurt shakily replied, “I’ll try honey; I promise that I’ll try.” At Kurt’s answer Blaine’s eyes closed and he drifted back off to sleep leaving Kurt to sit vigil at his bedside. After a few hours Blaine whispers, only half conscious, in a husky yet sweet voice, “I love you Kurt, with all of my heart. Words can’t even begin to describe how much I love you.”
On the verge of tears, Kurt whole heartedly replies, “I love you too, Blaine, and no matter what happens you will always have a piece of my heart.” Miraculously, Kurt falls asleep half an hour later, but is awoken a couple of hours later by the wild beeping of heart monitors. At the noise of the monitors, several doctors and nurses come rushing into the room and frantically start trying to stabilize Blaine. A few minutes later, Blaine takes his final breath as his heart flat lines and he is pronounced dead.

But that was five years ago and Kurt tried to do as his husband asked him, but he just couldn’t be happy without his other half. He was an empty shell; he hardly wore any of his designer clothes, much less anything with color. After Blaine passed away, Kurt started developing insomnia because he always felt himself waiting for Blaine’s warm arms to encircle Kurt and keep him safe in the night. After a while Kurt was prescribed Eszopiclone. When Kurt slept, he dreamt that he was dying. To some people the dreams would have been nightmares, but to Kurt these are the best dreams he’s ever had. Every time he woke up after having such dreams he would think, “If only I had really died, then I would be with Blaine, my one and only love, again.” “I can’t do it anymore!” Kurt yelled at a picture of him and Blaine on the 13th anniversary of the day they met, taken not even five days before the fatal car crash, “I can’t live without you!” Kurt stood up and went to get a beer from the fridge, grabbing his Eszopiclone from the medicine cabinet on his way back to his room. Kurt set his beer and meds on his nightstand before grabbing the photo off of it. Kurt sat of the bed and studied the photo intensely, wanting it to be the last thing he remembered. Then he grabbed his meds off the nightstand and took the 20 remaining pills, using the beer to wash them down. After finishing off his meds and beer, Kurt felt his Eszopiclone starting to kick in, so he clutched the photo to his chest before he fell back on his bed to fall asleep and never wake up.

You did well! :) made me cry!
Thank you for the feedback, sadly this is the third time I've re-written it but i like this one, so thank you this makes me happy.
it broke my heart. for a first try it was very good. i hope you keep writing. as they say practice makes perfect and with a little you could be writing multi chapters next. just a little hint for your next one, write what you know and if you don't know research it :), that way you can make it convincing to the reader. but i did like it. cant wait to see what you come up with next :)
Thanks for the advice I'll make sure to keep that in mind when I'm writing and I'm glad that you enjoyed it that was my ultimate goal, well not just you cause I don't know you but people in general.
