First story. Would love to know what you think <3
“Isabella? Stephanie? SANDIE!”
“Kurt not so loud, please” Blaine said, glasses on the bridge of his nose, book in hand with his Husband sitting up on the bed reading ‘THE BIG BOOK OF NAMES 2019'. As Kurt ignored Blaine his fingers were tracing over names like Chase and Petal. “Blaine none of these names are nice. I still think Sandie would be an amazing name for our daughter.” He turned around to see Blaine with his back leaning against the head board smiling into his eyes.
“I like the name...Cecelia” Kurt's head jerked to the side as he whisper the name a few names under his Breath “Cecelia Anderson...Cecelia Sandie Anderson...Cecelia Sandie Anderson OHMYGOD Blaine I love it!” He said flinging himself over to his husband “Who said her middle name can be Sandie!?” Blaine asked mockingly
“I just assumed” Kurt replied his head resting on Blaine's shoulder and his fingers lacing their hands together. “ Well you would wouldn't you darling” Kurt's heart jumped a little at the term of endearment. Years of being called ‘baby' and ‘honey' you thought he would have got used to it but the words just travel from his ears to his heart melting it like butter.
“Oh my god Blaine” He turned to Kurt at the raspy tone he was speaking in. Within seconds Kurt was on his feet, hands flying open all the draws in their bedroom. “Kurt Honey what's the problem?” as his heart was still melting the words didn't sweep into his ears as sweet as they normally did. “Kurt what are looking for?” He asked, desperation in his voice. Kurt ignored him but continued to rummage around. “There you are!” he exclaimed, pulling out a glossy magazine with the words COSMO written on the front, holding it up proudly before opening his bag and placing it gently inside.
Living in England had its many advantages but a lot of disadvantages. The seriget was their best friend and ex glee club member Quinn Fabray who of course still lived in Ohio. Moving away from their home town was one of the hardest things they had ever had to do but it was both what they wanted. Boat ride away from Paris was a dream come true, stormy days and low degree summers were not top of their lists but beautiful crisp autumn evenings along the beach of Cornwall was perfect for the couple.
“Blaine?” Kurt asked. He mumbled in response. “ Look at me” He said shaking Blaine's shoulders a little. As two golden eyes met his eyes he began to talk “Do you think we made the right decision? Using my sperm?” Kurt's eyes glazed over a little, a worried tone to his voice. “Listen to me Kurt Anderson.” Blaine said cupping Kurt's face in his “This baby Girl...” “Cecelia Sandie Anderson” Kurt correct “Cecelia Sandie Anderson is going to be the most beautiful daughter anyone could ever want because you are going to be her Dad” “And your going to be her handsome Farther” Kurt announced peppering kisses on Blaine's neck “Kurt we have to get up early for the flight tomorrow...Kurt” but he continued forcing Blaine to put his book down and his glasses on the bedside table. Just as Kurt was about to undo Blaine's buttons the phone rang. “Kurt get that” Blaine muffled through pleasurable moans “It will be no one, maybe my Mum but that's it” “Kurt!” Blaine said snapping out of his thoughts. “Answer the god damn phone”
As Kurt entered the room, his face pale and the house phone down by his knee Blaine turned the lamp on by the bed “What's wrong?” Kurt swallowed trying to answer “That was Quinn. She's in labour.” “Oh my god Kurt!” Both men looked at each other. The shock draining from their faces, beaming ones replacing “Oh my god Kurt we're going to be Daddies!!” He leaped out of bed and grabbed his Husband round the waist. “I love you.” Blaine said looking into Kurt's eyes. “I love you more”
“Not possible”
“Quinn we got the earliest flight but she's a month early will she be ok?” Blaine gasped out as he ran into her room. The plane had taken them a whole 6 hours.
“Calm down you” Quinn said rubbing her stomach “We still have hours...” as soon as she said that her face tensed up in pain. “Oh my god Quinn are you ok?” he asked taking her hand. She squeezed hard making Blaine's knees a little weak. “Sorry Quinn I just had to go to the toilet is everything ok?” Kurt asked coming in and seeing her face made him scream “Blaine what if she's dying oh my fucking god get a nurse get anyone!” As her face unclenched a smile swept across it.
“Kurt its fine this is nothing. When I had Beth it was so much worse.” Blaine squeezed her hand in encouragement. “Have you been here all the time by yourself?” Kurt asked his hands gripping the edge of the bed. She nodded. “Everyone was at work, I didn't want my Mum here! I told her I was at my friends. She's so...shit. FUUUUCKK” A rush of pain flooded through Blaine's hand.
“Blaine.” Kurt said shaking
“What?” Blaine was holding a cloth he found by the sink next to Quinn's bed on her head hoping it was helping
“Is that supposed to happen?” he said pointing to a red stain on the bed.
“Get the nurse. Shush Quinn every things fine. You're doing brilliantly.”
Kurt was pacing outside the hospital room. Blaine sitting in a chair. “Come here” He said gesturing to his lap. Kurt took the gesture and Blaine began rocking him.
“They are both going to be fine I promise you.”
They stayed in each other arms on the hospital chairs for what seemed like hours.
“Mr Andersons” A doctor came out of the room holding a clip board, Kurt was on his feet first.
“Everyone is fine” A massive sigh escaped Kurt's lips which he hadn't realised he had been holding in. Blaine found his fingers by his side and stitched them together.
“Some complications were sorted but with worrying parents-to-be in the room sometimes the nurses can't do their jobs. I hope you understand. After the hour we spent it seems Quinn has raced through to 9 cm dilated. Not long now I promise. And again my deepest apologise.”
“She's beautiful. Kurt she has your eyes” Blaine had his arms around Kurt's waist with his chin on Kurt's shoulder staring down at their beautiful daughter in his arms.
“Oh Blaine.” Kurt cried “I can't believe it. We have a family”
“Cecelia Sandie Anderson. Welcome home.”
