“Kurt.... There's something you may be want to see” Rachel puts the laptop in the front of him. Kurt can see Blaine's face on the screen.
“Why would I?”
“It's the live-stream. Everyone's sending us this link.”
Kurt sighs, “Okay.”
The girl presses the 'play' button. Kurt starts as the video begin to play. Obviously it's not from the first seconds, but it doesn't matter. Blaine's words – that's important.
“I've made the hugest mistake in my entire life. I will never forgive it myself. I... I just gave up then. I've lost heart. Of course I regret. Who wouldn't? And I can't help thinking he could have happier life if I wouldn't be with him at all. I can't live with that feeling.”
Kurt sees just now where Blaine is standing. It's a roof. He's coming closer to the edge. And he's still speaking.
“I hope you're watching this, Kurt. Not because of the next step, I don't want you to see it. Just some more words.
I'm sorry about doubting in our eternity. I'm sorry about not being as perfect as you are. I'm sorry about causing you pain. I'm sorry about making you cry, I wish it would never happen. I'm so, so sorry about everything I've made wrong. And I hope you live better without me.”
Kurt's hands are looking for the phone while his eyes are unstoppable staring at the boy who is more upset than Kurt is about – who could think – his own cheating. And no matter what he has done, the boy is still loved by Kurt.
“Don't you dare do this, Blaine, don't even think about it”, Kurt whispers through clenched teeth picking up the number he knows as the back of his hand.
There's a connection.
Not waiting for Blaine says something Kurt screams, “Stop it! Don't you dare do this to me, okay?! It seems like you're looking for a way to hurt me more even without knowing it!”
“Why do you care?”, the tired voice in the phone asks, “It would be better-”
“I LOVE YOU, Blaine Anderson! I wanted to live my life with you and maybe I still do. Don't blame everything on yourself. And, please, get out of the roof.”
The video turns off and Kurt hears soft crying. He thinks it's Blaine's, but then realizes... It's his own.
“Kurt... Don't cry. I'll do everything you want me to.”
Kurt nods though he knows Blaine can't see him and tries to smile.
“Just wait for me. I need a little more time and after... We'll be alright.”
“You never forget your promises, don't you?”
“Will you wait for me?” Kurt ignores Blaine's question and his one sounds a bit like 'Will you marry me?'
“Of course I will.”
…
Rachel thanks God that Blaine has agreed to her proposition.
She just wants her boys to be happy.
