This was becoming a problem, Blaine began to realize.

Like…a serious problem.

Because it kept happening.

At the most inopportune moments. In the most inappropriate places.

And it always happened the same way.

It happened when Kurt gave him that look. Just that one. He would sort of blush a little, maybe he would duck his head, and his eyes were so full of hearts that Blaine was surprised actual hearts weren't pouring out of his eye sockets. He'd flutter his eyelashes a little and wow, Blaine didn't know why he was so turned on by shy little Kurt.

But damnit, he was.

He was so turned on.

And because he was so turned on…well…he was only a teenage boy for fuck's sake! And this was his first real boyfriend, a boy he could just reach out and touch whenever he wanted to.

Good lord, did he want to touch him.

But…

Getting erections in public places weren't exactly the best times to ravish your new boyfriend.

They were sitting in the senior commons at Dalton, which was filled with other students, yes, best to point that out. Kurt and Blaine were sitting on the floor, their homework spread out in front of them on the coffee table.

That was the first time Blaine noticed the look.

Kurt knocked his knee against Blaine's so, naturally, Blaine thought Kurt needed his attention for some reason. But when he turned to look at him, Kurt simply caught his eye and gave him the slightest of smiles, tilted his pretty head down and looked up at Blaine.

But there was something in his eyes and they were kind of sparkling and oh wow, how did Blaine not notice how long Kurt's eyelashes were and sweet holy hell his lips were so –

Oh god.

Blaine discreetly covers his lap with a notebook.

"Blaine, you don't have to pay for my ticket," Kurt said while they stood at the ticket counter outside the movie theatre.

"Yes I do," Blaine said, handing his card to the ticket taker. "This is our first real date to the movies."

"Well yeah, but-"

"You can pay for the popcorn," Blaine told him, taking back his card and the two tickets.

"You know I don't eat that nasty, buttery…stuff they sell."

"…You can pay for the chocolate covered peanuts?" Blaine threw out, knowing Kurt's concession stand weakness.

Kurt narrowed his eyes.

"Deal."

"Awesome," Blaine grinned, slipping his card back into his wallet and into his pocket.

When he gave Kurt his ticket and clasped their hands together, Kurt looked over at him with those big blue eyes and that…those…he…

Well, shit.

Blaine's thankful for his coat.

Coats cover obvious erections.

"I thought you were joking when you said the Warblers performed at nursing homes."

"Nope. Dead serious," Blaine remarked as he and the rest of the Warblers walked into the room.

Dozens of elderly men and women were scattered about, sitting on chairs, happily awaiting the performance. Kurt and Blaine stood in the center, right at the forefront of the group. Kurt was fussing with his hair, smoothing down his blazer, and fidgeting with pretty much everything so Blaine stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey," Blaine said quietly, eyes soft. "You look great, Kurt."

Kurt dropped his head, but his gaze was on Blaine's face.

What – oh god. No, not here.

Kurt smiled slowly, eyes full of affection and he just –

Fuck.

Fuck, fuck, fuck.

"I – we need – I have to pee," Blaine said loudly.

He raced out of the room, not seeing the group of confused Warblers behind him.

This. Was. A. Problem.

The Night of Neglect performance had just ended and Blaine and Kurt were hanging out with New Directions after their show, lingering in the house of the auditorium.

"Wait, so, wait," Puck started to say when he noticed their entwined hands. "I thought you two were like, so not getting it on."

"They don't have to be getting it on to hold hands, Puckerman," Lauren Zises stated.

"Oh," Puck nodded. "Right. I'm learning slowly."

Lauren gave a nod of approval.

"So are you boyfriends with Blaine now?" Brittany asked bluntly.

"Yeah," Kurt said. "We are."

So yeah, maybe Blaine blushed a little because he was still getting used to the term 'boyfriends'. Kurt blushed too, but he turned his head toward Blaine, their eyes locking instantly.

Oh fucking hell.

Blaine wants to look away because there Kurt goes again, giving him that one look that makes Blaine's brain shut down, the one that makes all the blood rush south and why the actual fuck does he have to look at him like that now, why can't he look at him like that when they're alone and –

His other hand is in the pocket of his coat and he slowly drags the flap to hide his crotch.

And of course, his very inappropriate erection.

"So, we should go!" Blaine announced.

"What? Wh-"

"We'll see you guys soon!" Blaine yelled as he pulled Kurt along with him, out of the auditorium.

"Blaine?" Kurt wondered.

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yup! Never better!"

Kurt looked a little too suspicious.

Well no shit, Sherlock, Blaine thought to himself.

"Hey," Kurt greeted as he rounded the corner of a tall shelf in the library.

"Hi!" Blaine returned with a huge grin.

"What're you doing?"

"Looking for another book about the French Revolution," Blaine sighed heavily, sliding a book back onto the shelf. "What's up?"

"I just missed you," Kurt shrugged.

And then he gave him that look. On purpose.

Blaine froze but Kurt's cheeks looked so smooth and his eyes were so big and pretty and the way he tilted his head against the bookshelf was so – so –

Jesus fucking Christ.

"I – I need to-"

"No," Kurt said, sauntering a little closer. "You don't need to go anywhere."

Blaine gulped.

"N-no, I really should-"

Kurt glanced down.

Blaine wanted to crawl under a rock and maybe die.

Instead, his hands fluttered awkwardly down to cover his tented trousers.

"So this is why you've been running out of rooms and blushing so much?" Kurt asked, moving to stand directly in front of Blaine.

"I'm sorry!" Blaine squeaked.

"Why are you sorry?" Kurt wondered with a raised eyebrow.

"Because I can't – when you – I can't help it."

Blaine looked completely dejected and embarrassed, he knew he did. He hung his head.

Kurt took hold of Blaine's wrist.

"Blaine," Kurt began sadly. "You don't have to be sorry. It's kind of, I don't know, flattering."

"…What?"

"You want me," Kurt's voice dropped in pitch and when Blaine lifted his eyes he could see the coy smile on Kurt's lips. "That's flattering."

"I – I guess, but-"

"Why don't you do something about it?"

"Because it always happens when we're in public! Because of you and your – your face!"

"My…face."

"That look! Don't pretend like you don't know," Blaine said in a low voice. "You just did it on purpose."

"Well yeah," Kurt said. "Because I started noticing that you always act weird when I do it. I didn't think it gave you a freaking boner."

"Ugh," Blaine groaned. "This is so embarrassing."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"What was I supposed to say? Hey, Kurt, by the way, whenever you look at me a certain way I get a hard on. Yeah. That'd go over well."

"I might have stopped looking at you like that if you'd said something, though."

Blaine shrugged, letting his hands fall to his sides again when his…problem had died down.

"Or I could, you know, look at you like that more. And we could work on the problem…together."

Oh.

Holy.

Hell.

End.

End Notes: So that didn't come out as funny as I was hoping. Hope you enjoyed it anyway!
