Author's Notes: I was in a bad mood, so I cheered myself up with fluffy klaine love. Listen to Marry Me by Train if you want the full effect haha Also tell me if there are any typos because I NEVER proof read. haha
It was just like any other performance day beside the fact that it was most of the seniors last performance day. They all sat in the auditorium waiting for the curtains to part and the lights to dim.
Kurt bit his lip, a reaction boiling up from nerves and anxiety as he waited. Behind the curtain Blaine took a deep breath, letting it calm his shaking hands. Finally the curtains parted and he clenched his still shaking hands on his guitar.
Everyone gasped. The lights in the auditorium had gone dark and on stage only strung white lights were used as lighting. They hung from wall to wall, overlapping and creating a starry light canopy over Blaine's head. Blaine stood center stage and he took another deep breath before he began strumming.

Finally Blaine began singing the beautiful ballad.

Forever can never be long enough for me
To feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do
Blaine stared down the stage at Kurt. His voice deep and serious.
Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way
A sweet smile spread across his face slowly
Marry Me
Today and every day
Marry Me
If I ever get the nerve to say
Hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Kurt blushed, knowing that almost everyone’s eyes were on him now. But he couldn’t find it in him to react, he just stared, wide eyed, lips slightly parted in shock, at his boyfriend, who was singing so beautifully to him.
Together can never be close enough for me
To feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love you
And you're beautiful
Now that the wait is over
And love and has finally showed him my way
Blaine’s curls bounced slightly as he stepped slowly down the few steps leading from stage to audience. Kurt’s face was now bright with a smile, he was still unable to look away from Blaine’s dark eyes.
Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Blaine stopped a few yards short of Kurt as he readied to sing the next verse.
Promise me
You'll always be
Happy by my side
I promise to
Sing to you
When all the music dies
Blaine stared deep into Kurt’s eyes as he sang his heart out to him. Kurt felt as if Blaine was looking right into his soul, singing a piece of his own soul into Kurt’s. And bonding them even closer together. Again, Blaine began closing the distance between him and Kurt.
And marry me
Today and everyday
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Marry me
Mm-hmm
The song ended with Blaine in front of Kurt. He pushed his guitar onto his back and kneeled down in front of Kurt. Kurt stared with wide eyes, his mouth open in shock and his hands covering it, because now he realized this wasn’t just a love song. Blaine meant every word that left his mouth. Blaine took Kurt's hands away from his shocked expression and into his own.
"I know, that this is kind of crazy." Blaine began looking at Kurt's still shocked expression. "And I know that you're going away so this is untimely" he held Kurt’s hands tighter “But, I can’t imagine a single day without you. I’m not going to stop you from leaving. I want you to go, go to college, go meet new people, go see the world and find all of its beauty. But I want to be the one that you’re missing, the one you come home to. And I want to miss you, and I want you to come home to me. And I want that for the rest of my life.”
Kurt’s eyes were filled to the brim with tears that threatened to escape. He had forgotten completely where he was and that everyone was watching, he only saw Blaine. Only felt their hands clasped tightly together. Only heard the beautiful words that Blaine was telling him.
“I know, it’s crazy, because we’re in high school.” Blaine continued “And you’re going away and I’m staying here. But, maybe it’s just crazy enough to work.”
Blaine’s heart was beating nearly out of his chest, he was sure that Kurt could hear it as he stared at him with big blue eyes and trembling lips. Blaine’s heart skipped a few beats when Kurt didn’t speak.
“So?” Blaine asked “Will you marry me?” Blaine thought he should add more reasoning tactics when Kurt still didn’t speak, what he didn’t know was Kurt was much too choked up to even THINK about talking let alone saying yes to a marriage proposal. “It doesn’t have to be before you leave. I was thinking that maybe, once we both graduate college. But if you want to wait longer than that that’s fine too. Or if you don’t want to wait that’s fine too. Or if you just don’t want to-“ Blaine was starting to sweat now, worrying over whether this was a good idea or not when Kurt pulled him up into a long kiss, cutting off his long stream of words.
“Yes.” Kurt finally said, tears falling down his face “Yes. I’ll marry you. Of course I will.”
They were only vaguely aware of the loud cheering that erupted behind them as they leaned in for another kiss. It felt like it was a million miles away.
“Oh,” Blaine said reaching into his jeans pocket and pulling out a small velvet box. He opened it to show two matching engagement bands. They were silver and rather simple. But Blaine had bought them himself, and taken a lot of time picking something out that Kurt would not only like but also not conflict with any of his outfits. “I was saving these for when you said yes.” Blaine chuckled nervously as he slid one on Kurt’s long, slender fingers then slid one onto his own finger.
“I love them.” Kurt whispered against Blaine’s lips as they kissed once more.

“Well,” Rachel chimed in “This is most definitely the most exciting thing that has ever happened during Glee.” Then she thought “Well, besides Quinn going into labor.” The rest of the club laughed then started handing out congratulatory hugs and well wishes.
End Notes: Bring on the funny typos!
