Kurt watched from a distance as Blaine danced close to Sebastian. He felt like he was loosing his boyfriend to someone they had just met a few days prior. What worried him the most though, wasn't the fact that Blaine hadn't even thought to mention Sebastian to him, let alone tell him they were going to get coffee together. It hurt Kurt to much to think about and even though he was in a mood he wanted to keep happy for Blaine; his Blaine.

"Better keep an eye on your boyfriend" a voice boomed then lowered as Karofsky sat down next to his ex-enemy Kurt and asked for a beer. They talked, remembered and finally Kurt looked over, worrying his straw between his lips before putting it down and walking over to his boyfriend and grabbing a hold him. Blaine didn't mind the company, in fact he'd been wanting it all night but it just seemed that Kurt wasn't interested in dancing, so he danced with Sebastian, who was more than obvious with what he wanted. Then it was time to go, Blaine was drunk, very drunk and now he was walking with Kurt to the car, one hand on his shoulder and the other moving enthusiastically with his speech.

"Hey.. kiss me..." Blaine said, voice low and seductive. Kurt resisted and pushed the younger boy into the car so they could get home safely and suddenly he was being pulled down, onto of Blaine. His heart raced as he protested but Blaine wouldn't let go until he broke the contact and got out of the back seat. Blaine popped out after him and looked up at Kurt who was yelling and almost in tears. Were they fighting....?

"Why are you yelling at me...?" Flashes of his father came into his mind. The time he would be pushed up against the wall and threatened to be kicked out. The times that he would tell his son he wasn't good enough and if he didn't turn straight soon he'd have it punched into his thick skull. The threats of his father to his mother about him leaving her if he didn't agree and the times he would cry himself to sleep thinking about how horrible his life was. He felt ashamed; embarrassed even he had almost forced sex on the most precious thing that had came into his life besides music and that was just Un Blaine like.... He walked away after shouting something he'd probably regret in the morning but for now, he had to leave, he couldn't show Kurt how hurt he was or how ashamed he was. No he had to get out of there and fast. Kurt shouted his name but nothing came.

Blaine looked out into the crowd as he bowed, he scanned the audience and noticed that the seats his mother and father were supposed to be sitting in were empty but he smiled along and cursed himself for ever coming out. He was dancing now, trying to get the move he had messed up on right, but it kept going wrong, he was worried about Kurt. Blaine was worried that the most precious boy that graced his life was gone forever, that he wouldn't be back to forgive him but what hurt him most of all was Kurt was all he had and without him he'd be the same person he was before Kurt. The same Blaine who was trapped between the cages of his bedroom walls and the cage that his father and mother put on him. When he had first told them about Kurt, they flipped and forbid him to see him however, Blaine kept on seeing him. Then he heard a voice, a voice that made his heart calm but speed up at the same time.

"Shouldn't you be celebrating...." Kurt asked, shoving his hands in his pockets and smiling slightly at the boy in front of him. Blaine didn't look at him but spoke anyways, avoiding his gaze at all costs.

"I'm going over this move... I messed it up tonight..." He sighed, hitting his hand in defeat over his thigh before looking at Kurt and remembering why he kept breathing. He set up to start the move over again.

"I know I can do it better...." Kurt nodded and started walking closer to Blaine.

"Beauty of the stage, you can do it all over again tomorrow night" He took a breath but kept walking. He needed to be close to Blaine; a day without him felt like an eternity and he was done being angry, he just wanted to be held in Blaine's strong arms and know that everything was alright with them again.

"Personally I thought both you guys were perfect..."

"Thank you..." Blaine said, resting his hands on his hips. He tried to catch his breath but Kurt kept looking at him and meeting his gaze. He hated how he could go breathless in an instant when Kurt looked at him like that. He both hated it; because he was helpless and loved it; because no one had looked at him like that before.

"Your officer Krupke killed..." Eye roll. " it brought the house down..." He smiled.

"Well....I can't help but pull focus...sorry" Kurt looked around and smiled sarcastically at Blaine, who smiled.

"Don't apologize... it was great..."

"Well, all your friends were here tonight..." but his parents weren't. He smiled anyway.

"The Warblers, Sebastian...They were all loving it.." he smiled weakly. Blaine was fed up at this point. Fed up that he hadn't said sorry yet and fed up that Kurt was so..so far away.

"Come here..." He said he defeat, moving his arm signalling Kurt to move, so he did. Blaine took Kurt's hand in his and put it to his heart. Words and laughs were shared, followed by a quick yet passionate kiss. When Kurt pulled away Blaine nibbled his lip gently in hopes they would keep kissing. There was a silence.

"You take my breath away..." Blaine's breath hitched; He took Kurt's breath away? Blaine wasn't listening anymore, not really. He was still lost in his dream, this was a dream right? Everything that was Kurt and Blaine must be a dream because he had never been so in love in his life. He had never felt the need to be with anyone this much except for Kurt; only Kurt. He did catch one thing, one thing that made his heart jump and his eyes swell.

"I'm proud of you..." No one had ever been....

"I hope so..." he said without thinking " I ... I want you to be..." He said, too much emotion letting go than what Blaine wanted. Kurt's eyes swelled up as he looked at Blaine who quickly recovered and suggested they go to the after party but instead Kurt spoke without thinking but not regretting.

"No... I want to go to your house..."

"Okay....."

It wasn’t about the sex for Kurt and Blaine, it was about the magical touch of the finger tips that sent shivers down their spines and tip toed back up every time their lips danced. It wasn’t about the fact that Blaine had danced with Sebastian on what was supposed to be ‘their’ evening out. It wasn’t about Artie telling Blaine he needed to be intimate to portray Tony better and it wasn’t ‘fucking’ like a lot of people think. No it was about the love and the intimacy of being with another person and giving yourself completely to him. It was about the chills that sent them over the top and the brushing of noses as they stared into what could be the love of their live’s eyes. It was about the strangeness of the situation, Blaine laying flat on the bed while Kurt caressed and tugged on the grey flesh of Blaine’s undershirt, just thinking to all the times they had sang flirty duets together for Christmas and spent all night staying up just to watch ‘The Bachelor’ while cuddling together on the couch. It was about how Blaine transferred just for Kurt. It was about how Finn was always getting angry at Blaine for just trying to fit in. It was about the year they faced together and the year that had changed Kurt’s life around for the better. It was about Kurt and Blaine and their hearts that beat together in song. The sound of Blaine’s breath close to his ear and the dull ache of pain that sent chills up and down Kurt’s body. It was about how gentle Blaine was being, how he cried softly as he apologized for Thursday nights happenings and laughed lightly when Kurt bit his lip signalling more. The way their hips ground together and the way their bodies felt like puzzle pieces just falling into place. Both boys knew this was the right time and whether they never did this again they would remember it as their first time. The time where the world didn’t matter and the four walls of Blaine’s bedroom were the only thing that was watching. The time where they looked into each other’s eyes and silently promised that they mattered and they’d fight until the end for each other and the time where Blaine and Kurt made love for the first time…….
