A Very Klaine Christmas

Just as bit of random fluff that is honestly quite pointless. I thought it summed up their relationship quite nicely..?

Author's Notes: I know, it may be a bit cheesy and not really well written, but it's my first one. Give me a break.
For most couples silence is probably a really bad sign, but for Kurt, when he and Blaine were silent it was kind of nice. Sat there staring at each other with the biggest, cheesiest grins plastered on their faces just felt...right. To him, when they were silent they were closest, and he felt safer than he had ever felt before. With the Christmas lights reflecting off the hazel flecks in Blaine's eyes, the quiet of being the last ones in the Lima Bean and the faint smell of mocha lingering in his nostrils, Kurt couldn't think of a better way to spend Christmas Eve.
Blaine got up and started to put on his jacket, their gaze never breaking. He walked round the table, grabbed hold of Kurt's hand and whispered, "Let's get out of here." He pulled him up and out of the quaint shop, leaving behind two half-full cups of coffee.
Outside, the snow was coming down so heavily it had already soaked Kurt and Blaine completely by the time they had got to the car. Blaine's face was crumpled up into a massive grin and Kurt couldn't help but laugh with him from the passenger's seat. He knew that Christmas was Blaine's favourite holiday and he honestly couldn't be any happier to be with him for it. They drove unspoken for a while, Blaine watching the road get covered in soft, white snow and Kurt watching Blaine smiling like an idiot. The drive from the Lima Bean back to Blaine's wasn't too far, every other season they might have walked, but the snow was coming down so hard it was crazy to walk even five metres. They got back within 3 or 4 minutes and before Kurt could even undo his seatbelt; Blaine was out, opening the door and tugging him out of the car into the house.
The whole outside of the house was covered in beautiful Christmas lights and Kurt took a second to appreciate it all before he was chucked into the house by Blaine. He slid his coat off his shoulders and put it on one of the pegs while taking a second to breathe in the vintage leather scent that was emitted from the jackets that were hanging there. Blaine had already sped off into another room and Kurt heard him call softly, “Hey, Kurt! Come in here!” Kurt left the front hallway reluctantly and followed the sound of his voice.
The living room was just beautiful. It was simple and perfect, an exact reflection of Blaine’s personality. The first thing he noticed was an enormous Christmas tree, decorated beautifully and generously, that towered over the rest of the room. Next to it was a gorgeous set-up, a soft beige blanket in front of a plain fireplace. Kurt just wanted to drag Blaine onto it and cuddle until spring. His fantasy was interrupted by a hushed G note from an upright piano huddled in the corner that Kurt hadn’t even noticed before. Blaine’s face was lit up even brighter than the Christmas tree, and Kurt could see exactly what was about to happen.
Surely enough, one silly, cheesy rendition of ‘Baby, its Cold Outside,’ later, Kurt and Blaine were stood toe-to-toe in front of the fireplace with smiles as big as Cheshire cats’. Blaine’s smile disappeared quite suddenly as he brushed away a stray hair that had fallen over Kurt’s eye. He leaned in until their noses were practically touching and then hesitated, Kurt knew what he was suggesting and he quickly closed the space between them so their lips were pressed gently against each others.
Kurt absolutely loved Blaine’s lips. They were smooth, sweet and had a small trace of mocha still left slightly on them. They tasted more delicious than, and felt better than anything Kurt had ever known. Blaine pulled away, but left his forehead pressed to Kurt’s. A small smile lit up his eyes and he bit his lip a little before going back in to kiss Kurt again, this time with a little more urgency. He parted his lips and Kurt’s breath hitched in his chest. He twisted his hands up into Blaine’s curly mop of hair and Blaine stiffened but didn’t stop. Blaine’s fingernails dug into Kurt’s back through his Marc Jacobs shirt. They were intertwined completely.
Hours later, Kurt opened his eyes and immediately felt Blaine’s strong arms wrapped around his waist. He giggled silently, curled up even tighter into a ball and thanked everyone and everything he could think of for giving him the best Christmas present ever.
