What happened to him? What happened to Super-Cooper who used to babysit you without a word of complaint, watch Disney movies when you were sick, always give you some of his share of the ice-cream? What happened to the awesome big brother who gave you piggy backs around the park, who cooked dinner when your parents were out, too often, who always burnt it and ended up calling in pizza? What happened to the only person who cared when you were in the hospital, who stayed with you for so long that he had to re-take a year at college, who never left your side?

Hollywood happened.

Fame and fortune – he'd be lying if he said he never asked for it all. And you'd be lying if you said you weren't so proud. But then, he'd always been the favourite son, with less-than-perfect grades, but a charming smile and a nice girlfriend to make up for it, and you should look up to your brother, Blaine. And now? Now he's too big to give his baby brother a call, too busy to find out how he's doing, too fucking famous to care.

You used to be bitter about it. Resentful. Oh, sorry, does it sound like you still are? Well, maybe you still are, but you have every right to be. Now you're more sad than anything. Sad that he used to be your everything, and now he's just somebody that you used to know.
