Kurt pulled into his driveway. He turned off the car and just sat there for a while. Blaine's smile couldn't get out of his mind. Everything Blaine did made Kurt like him so much more. Kurt got out of the car and went inside. Once he got in the house, Burt was on the couch watching ESPN.

Burt looked at Kurt and asked, "Kurt, where have you been? We come home and you're gone. Me and Carol were worried sick about you." Burt said.

Kurt never asked his family if he could go out with Blaine. He was so anxious to get to his plans, he never told his father about it.

"Im sorry. I was..." Kurt hesitated. "I was with Blaine." Kurt said.

Burt gave Kurt a look. "Anderson? That kid?" said Burt.

"Y-Yes, Dad. Blaine Anderson." Kurt's heart pounded by just saying his name.

Burt looked at the TV then looked back at Kurt. "Are you two kids dating now, or what?"

Kurt knew what he wanted the answer to be, but he also knew what the truth was.

"No, dad. Me and Blaine are just friends. We were just hanging out as friends." Kurt said in a rushed voice.

Suddenly Finn came down stairs, he started laughing.

"Kurt is in love with him, Burt. He's just afraid to show it because Blaine doesn't feel the same way." Finn said as he went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

"Is that true, Kurt?" Burt asked while he squinted his eyes.

"N-No. Its not. At least... I don't think its true. I... I don't know. " Kurt said trying to hold back the sadness in his voice.

"Well Kurt, whatever happens we're here for you. " Burt patted Kurt on the shoulder and turned off the TV. "Get some rest, Kurt." Burt said.

Burt got up and went up stairs.

"Goodnight Dad." Kurt said as Burt walked up the stairs."

"Goodnight, Kid." Burt whispered.

Finn turned on the TV and began to watch it. Kurt went into his room to lay down.

Kurt looked at the ceiling and said, "Im in love with Blaine Anderson." Then he turned off the light, and went to sleep.
