Kurt sat under the tree for hours. He even cried himself to sleep. Once he woke up, he was very confused and a little dizzy. At the corner of his eye, he saw a man walk towards him. The man stood next to him, looking down at Kurt. The man was tall, handsome, very fair skinned, and had smooth brown hair. As soon as the man saw Kurt wake up, he laughed.
"Wow, Kid. Are you drunk? Hungover?" The man jokingly said.
Kurt rubbed his eyes and got up. It was dark.
"What the hell?" Kurt said, looking up in the sky.
The man sat next to Kurt and strangely looked at him. The man eyes were sincere, yet curious. Kurt was intrigued by this.
"So are you gonna answer my question? Are you hungover? Killer party happening during the day or what?" The man asked.
Kurt sighed. "No, um. I kind of just ran away from a problem and ended up here. I dont know why I fell asleep though. Im so stupid." Kurt said as he laid his head down into his hands.
The man sat up straight. "Hey man, I bet you're not stupid. You look actually kind of smart. Like the attractive kind of smart." The man smiled and laughed.
Kurt blushed, it was the sweetest thing that he's heard in a while.
"Thanks?" Kurt said.
The man put his hand out and smiled. "Im Grant."
Kurt smiled as he shook his hand. "Kurt."
They laughed and began to talk to each other for a couple of minutes under the tree. They laughed at each others joke and found out they had so much in common.
They had been talking for forever now, Kurt was so interested by him.
"Really? No way! I can't believe you saw The Phantom of the Opera live in Broadway!" Kurt squealed.
"Yeah! I love New York, its great." Grant said.
Kurt frowned. "I bet. Its my dream to live over there." Kurt said looking up to the sky.
Grant's eyes widened with happiness when he heard this.
"Really? Hmm... I would love to take you over there sometime. See if you really want to move there..." Grant said, eagerly elbowing Kurt's arm.
Kurt jumped up. "Are you serious? I would love that!" Kurt said.
Grant laughed and finally stood up.
"Hey its kinda late, I gotta get to my parents before they throw a fit." Grant laughed.
He pulled his hand out so Kurt could pull himself up. Kurt smiled and grabbed Grant's hand.
Kurt bit his lip as soon as he got up. "Y- Yeah, its pretty late. I should get home too." Kurt said.
"Well um, here's my number. I would love to talk to you again, Mr Hummel." Grant giggled.
Kurt put Grant's number and then gave Grant his number. They walked their separate ways smiling at each other from behind. Kurt was actually smiling.
Kurt walked home thinking about Grant's gorgeous smile. But then, there was also Blaine, and his smile was also pretty memorizing. But Kurt had to move on, right? These thoughts were running through his mind as he took the long way home.
Once he got home, he quietly opened the front door and tried to sneak in. Doing so, he heard footsteps coming down the stairs, it was his dad. His dad made it down the stairs and looked angry.
"Where the hell have you been?" Burt said.
Kurt looked at the clock on the wall and realized it was 2 am. His eyes widened.
"Shit."
