The grafuation ceremony went off without a hitch, now the New Directions, old and new, were at Breadstix catching up.
"I'm not even kidding, my dance teacher is a complete bitch. I'm glad I get a break from her, she's seriously out to get me." Rachel was explaining how much she loved NYADA, but hated Dacne 101 because of Cassie.
"Just because someone is finally calling you out, doesn't mean they're out to get you Berry, trust me." Santana said, rolling her eyes at Rachel.
"You don't understand Santana, this woman is crazy, and she comes in drunk half the time, she literally keeps her booze in a drawer so she can have a pick me up before class."
"Rachel, it's college and it's New York, what do you expect?" Quinn asked.
"Ideallym some perfessionalism. She's a teacher, how are we suppose to learn from her if she's drunk?" Rachel didn't understand why no one was getting what she was saying.. "You understand, right Kurt, you've met her."
"What? Oh yeah, sure." Kurt hadn't been paying attention to what Rachel was droning on about, he had been keeping his eye on Blaine who was across the room talking with Tina, Sam, and Artie.
"Kurt, are you even paying attention dude?" Finn asked, slightly concerned.
"Sorry, just got a lot on my mind lately." Kurt said, trying to focus in on the conversation.
"I bet, moving to New York with Blaine and going to NYADA, speaking of Blaine, what's with this thing about him wanting to go to law school?" Mercedes asked, taking a sip of her soda.
"Honestly, this is the first I've heard of it. I never really asked what he was going to study, I just assumed it would be theatre or music, but I never imagined law." Kurt sighed, stealing another glance at Blaine who looked like he was in a deep conversation. Where did this sudden want to go to law school come from and why was Blaine lying to Kurt about it? He'd find out later, he wasn't going to let this slide.

"I don't get it manm you said you hated law and now you want to go to school for it! What's up with that?" Sam asked, giving Blaine a look that told him he wasn't going to get out of talking about it.
"I know what I said, but I want to try it. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with becoming a lawyer, besides if I don't like it, I can decide to do something else." Blaine really didn;t want to talk about this, he wanted to enjoy this time with his New Direction friends. He and Kurt would be leaving for New York soon and he didn't know when he'd see these guys again.
"Blaine, I don't know who you think you're fooling with that lie, but you're not fooling us. We can tell it's a load of crap, what's really going on?" Tina asked, she knew Blaine well enough to know that he was lying.
"Guys, I know you're just trying to help, but please stop. I'm doing this because I want to, end of story. Now, can we please just enjoy the rest of the time we have together?" Blaine sighed, he just wanted to forget about school for now, he knew sooner or later Kurt would notice something was off, and no matter how hard he tried to hide it, Kurt would figure it out. He just wanted to not worry about it until then.
"Sure dude, but just remember, we're your friends, you can talk to us." Artie patted Blaine on the shoulder. He could tell that whatever was really going on was starting to get to Blaine, he just hoped that Blaine would talk about it and not try to deal with it all on his own.

Kurt glanced back at Blaine's table, seeing him getting up and making his way towards Kurt.
"Sorry to interupt guys, but can I borrow Kurt, I need to talk to him." Blaine gave Kurt a pleading look, letting him know it was important.
"Sure, he's all yours." Mercedes smiled, seeing the look that past between them.
"Thanks." Blaine replied, grabbing Kurt's hand and leading him to a small table, away from everyone else.
"What's wrong sweetie?" Kurt was worried, he hadn't seen that look on Blaine's face in a while.
"I want to go home, I'm tired and I- I just want to leave." Blaine said, rubbing his face with his hands.
"Okay, we can leave, just let me go grab my phone from Rachel." Kurt could tell something was bother Blaine, something about his talk with Sam, Tina, and Artie set him off.
"Okay, I'll wait for you in the car." Blaine didn't wait for Kurt to respond, he jumped up and practically ran towards the door.
As soon as Blaine was out, Kurt walked up to the table where Sam was sitting with Tina. "What did you say to him?" He was in no mood to joke around.
"We just asked him where the sudden interest in law school came from. He got all weird and left." Sam explained.
"That's all?"
"Yes Kurt, that's all. We know Blaine, he didn't want to studay law and now he says he does, we just wondered what changed his mind."
"Okay, if he decides to tell you let me know. Something is bothering him and he won't let me help. He's shutting himself down." Kurt said with a frown.
"We will, maybe he'll come arounf and talk to someone, whatever it is that's bothering him is messing with his attitude." Sam said and Kurt nodded.
"I noticed. It started when he mentioned it in the choir room earlier. I gotta go, I need to get him home. I'll talk to you soon." Kurt walked towards the door, waving at Rachel, letting his eues speak, knowing she'd get the message. She did, she nodded at him and turned back to her conversation.

Blaine was sitting in the car, seat belt on, ready to get home. He needed to talk to his dad, he couldn't do this. He needed to tell him the deal was off, he would take out loans if he had to. His father offered to pay for his schooling in full on one condition: Blaine had to study law. At first he said no, he wanted to study musical theatre, but he realized he needed his father's money to help him because he hadn't applied for any scholarships, so he told him he would study law. He knew he shouldn't have said yes, but he couldn't pay for college on his own and balance living expenses in New York not only for himself, but Kurt as well. That's why he agreed, he wanted to make sure he would be able to provide for him and Kurt, he was thinking about their future.
Blaine was pulled from his thoughts by Kurt opening the drivers side door and sliding in. "Ready to go home?"
"Yeah. Sorry I'm making you leave early, I'm just tired." It wasn't a lie, Blaine was exhausted.
"It's okay, to be honest, I was getting tired of listening to Rachel complain about everything." Kurt laughed, trying to get Blaine to smile and succeeding.
"Yeah, because you never complain about anything right?" Blaine glanced sideways at Kurt who was focused on driving but gave Blaine his best scowl, before a smile betrayed him.
"Oh shut up, at least I'm not as annoying as her."
"True. I personally don't know how you managed to live with her as long as you did."
"I stayed at work and prayed she'd go out with Brody when I was home for more than four hours. There were times when I just wanted to give her sleeping so I would have some quiet time."
"I'm sure." Blaine said as Kurt pulled into the Anderson driveway.
"So, do you want me to stay or-"
"No, go home tonight, spend some time with your dad and Carole. I'll be fine. I'm just going to sleep."
"Okay, I love you Blaine, and whatever is obviously bothering you, just know I'm her for you." Kurt smiled at Blaine, doing his best to hide his worry.
"I know you are. I love you too Kurt, so much." Blaine leaned over the console and pulled Kurt in for a long, deep kiss, the kind that always made Kurt feel a little dizzy.
Kurt cupped Blaine's cheek and pulled back, resting their foreheads together. "You are the love of my life Blaine, I can't wait to get to New York so we can start our future together."
"I can't wait either. We're going to be amazing aren't we?"
"Yes we are." Kurt smiled, bumping his nose with Blaine's.
Blaine let out a content sigh before kissing Kurt again and pulling away completely. "Goodnight babe."
"Goodnight honey, sleep well."
"I will, be careful driving home. Text me to let me know you made it so I won't worry."
"I will." Kurt watched Blaine walk up the path to the door, he turned and blew Kurt a kiss before going inside and heading towards his father's study, knowing he'd be there.

When Kurt got home he immediately texted Blaine to let him know he made it. He waited for a reply, deciding Blaine had already fallen asleep. As he got ready for bed, he had this feeling in his gut that something was wrong, he checked his phone again, seeing no new messages. He sighed and got into bed, falling into a light restless sleep.
