The week goes by torturously slow for Blaie, it seems like everyone around him is being called into Principal Figgins' office. He's not an idiot, he knows Figgins is asking them if they've noticed anything between him and Kurt.

True to their word, Kurt nor Blaine asked anyone who did knnow to lie about it, which is why when Blaine saw Mr. Shue walking out of the office, he just knew any minute now he'd be fired.

"Hey Blaine, wait up!" Will called after him.

"Will please, just don't." Blaine really didn't want anyone's pity.

"Hang on a second. I wanted to tell you that I didn't tell Figgins." Will pulled Blaine into the choir roo and locked the door.

"What? Why?" Blaine wasn't sure he'd heard correctly.

"Because Blaine, Kurt's one of my original Glee members. I've watched him deal with everything since the beginning. There was a time when he wasn't happy with his life because people bullied him. Then you came along and suddenly he's smiling all the time, he's more confident in himself. You taught him what it's like to feel wanted and loved, you save him. He's of legal age and he'll be graduating in a few months, I didn't really see any need to tell anyone."

"You- I- you-" Blaine was completely speechless.

Will just smiledm patting Blaine's shoulder as he spoke. "Don't worry about this, okay? It will all blow over really fast and you'll be able to get through the rest of the year."

"Thank you Will, I-I- wow. Thank you." All Blaine could do was thank him, maybe things would be okay after all.

Blaine took the second half of the day off at the insistance of Principal Figgins, so he drove straight to the Hummel-Hudson home to tell Kurt about Mr. Shue.

"Blaine. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you still be working?" Kurt was shocked when Blaine walked through the door looking as happy as ever.

"Figgins asked me to take the rest of the day off so his "investigation" could go go more smoothly."

"Please tell me that's not why you're smiling like an idiot because that's not exactly good." Kurt couldn't help but smile too, Blaine's smile was quite infectious.

"No, that's not why I'm smiling. I'm smiling because Figgins interviewed Mr. Shue today and he didn't tell him anything! I was worried because Will is one of those people who always like to do the right thing and I thought he'd tell but he didn't and-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down, breathe. How much coffee did you drink this morning? You're acting like a five year old on speed."

"Sorry, I uh- two coffees and I'm just excited Kurt! This means we're just one step closer to this whole thing being over, without a big shit storm."

"I know honey, I know." Kurt gave Blaine a soft smile. He really loves this man. "How did I get so lucky?" He finds himself asking out loud.

"What do you mean?" Blaine asked.

"How did I get so lucky by finding you?"

"Oh. Well I really think I'm the lucky one." Blaine stepped closer to Kurt, wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist.

"I'm really nothing special." Kurt mumbles, wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck, pulling their body flush together.

"Oh but you are Kurt Hummel. You are so very special, and I will spend forever showing you just how special you are." Blaine leaned in, resting their foreheads together.

"Forever is a really long time." Kurt whispered.

"Yeah, but forever is what I want with you." Blaine pressed a soft, chaste kidd to Kurt's lips, pulling back to add, "If you'll have me for that long."

"Forever sounds wonderful." Kurt pressed their lips together again, happy and content in the arms of the man he loves, the man who loves him back.

Principal Figgins was just about to quit for the day when Rachel knocked on his door. "What can I do for you Miss. Berry?"

"Sir, I-I-" Rachel paused, did she really want to do this? It would ruin any chances she had of getting Kurt's forgiveness. This would make her even more of an outcast than she already was because as soon as it gets out, not even the Glee club will accept her. "I have proof that Kurt is romantically involved with Mr. Anderson."

"Oh really, what kind of proof?"

"A recording of a phone call I had wil Kurt last night. H-he admitted to hiding a relationship with Mr. Anderson, calling Mr. Anderson his boyfriend."

"Alright, let's hear it then."

Rachel pulled her phone out and pressed play, fighting back tears. One day, Kurt would realize that she was doing this for his own good, one day he'll understand.

As soon as Figgins dismissed her, Rachel sent Kurt a text saying, "I'm sorry, for everything." Knowing he'd find out what she meant soon enough.
