Finally, it was time for the break. Kurt immediately ran into Blaine's arms at the airport, but froze when he felt Blaine's baby bump pressing against his stomach. He could also feel how careful Blaine was being at hugging him, how his kiss was so, so gentle and soft.
"Blaine, what's wrong? Didn't you miss me?" he asked.
"Of course I did, I just... I have something important to tell you, and I can't tell you here," Blaine said. Kurt's brow furrowed and he frowned.
"Ok then," he said, linking his hand with Blaine's. Blaine smiled apologetically.
"Sorry, it's just not something I can say surrounded by people who are looking at us like this," he said, eying all the people glaring at them with slight fear in his eyes. He was nearing the five month mark, and the doctor had said that the baby was especially vulnerable right now. They went to Kurt's house and went up to Kurt's oh so bare room. The sight made both boys tear up a little. They sat down on the bed where they had made love so many times, and where Blaine just knew he'd conceived their baby, and sat there for a second.
"So, what's going on?" Kurt whispered. Blaine bit his lip, then took Kurt's hands.
"I love you so much. I swear if I would have known it was possible I would have done everything I could to prevent it. But, Kurt... I'm pregnant," he said.
"You're what?"
"I'm having your baby." Kurt stared at him for a second.
"H-how? We... I-I..."
"I got pregnant almost a month before you left, and found out in September," Blaine said softly.
"What? But that means you've been pregnant for five months! And you didn't tell me?!" Kurt yelled.
"I w-wanted to tell you in p-person," Blaine whispered, his eyes beginning to sting and his lip trembling. Kurt froze as a tear fell down his cheek, then wrapped his arms tight around him.
"I'm sorry, please don't cry, baby, I'm sorry," he said.
"I'm n-not crying," Blaine said, harshly wiping at his eyes. "It's the h-hormones." Kurt pulled back and kissed him softly, resting a hand on his stomach.
"I'm not going back to New York," Kurt said.
"Actually, I-I'm going to New York after this semester's over. There's a medical center there that's had more male pregnancy cases and knows how to handle mine," Blaine said.
"Even better," Kurt whispered, resting his forehead against Blaine's.
