“Hey, Blaine!” A dark haired Asian boy walked up to him as he was closing his locker, having disposed of his books.
“Hey, Wes.” He smiled.
“You ready for Warbler rehearsal, today? It’s in the auditorium today, remember.” Blaine sighed and rolled his eyes.
“Of course I remember, Wesley. You Emailed, texted, IM’d, Facebooked, Tweeted and even Skyped us all, reminding us that Warbler rehearsal is in the Auditorium for the next few weeks due to the choir room being re-furbished.”
“Hey! I just wanted all of you to get the message!” Wes pouted.
“Oh, we did.” Blaine muttured.
“What?”
“Nothing! Let’s go, shall we?” He gestured down the hall with a flourish of his hands as Wes nodded. “To the Auditorium!” He declared, and pointed down in front of him with a hand on his hip before rushing down the tiled hallway. Wes rolled his eyes and muttered something startlingly similar to “seeking llama bing” and followed him.

The boys all stood in their formations on the stage as they started their harmonies, voices filling the darkness. A single spotlight lit up centre stage where a very dapper boy stood.
He put it on me, I put it on,
Like there was nothing wrong.
It didn’t fit,
It wasn’t right.
Wasn’t just the size.
They say you know,
When you know.
I don’t know.
The boy sung with such rawness, such softness, instantly drawing the nonexistent crowd in—or at least they thought it was nonexistent.
I didn’t feel
The fairytale feeling, no.
Am I a stupid girl
For even dreaming that I could.
Just off centre, 3 rows from the back, sat a silent boy in the otherwise empty auditorium seats, watching and listening. The only audience the a cappella group had, and he was a secret one.
If it’s not like the movies,
That’s how it should be, yeah.
When he’s the one,
I’ll come undone,
And my world will stop spinning
And that’s just the beginning, yeah.
The rest of the lights filled the stage, showing the rest of the boys, standing in their own individual spot across the stage with Blaine in the middle. The stood with their hands folded in front of them. Simple, but that was all that was needed.
Snow white said when I was young,
“One day my prince will come.”
So I wait for that date.
They say its hard to meet your match,
Find my better half.
So we make perfect shapes.
Blaine started to move now, weaved between the boys to sit on the edge of the stage off to the side, lights dimming on stage and focusing on him.
If stars don’t align,
If it doesn’t stop time,
If you cant see the sign,
Wait for it.
Kurt was impressed by how much emotion Blaine put into the song, singing—almost crooning—the song, adding his own little spin on it. It was… spectacular.
One hundred percent,
With every penny spent.
He’ll be the one that,
Finishes your sentences.
All lights went out and the stage delved into darkness as the brief silence filled the room. Kurt gasped quietly in surprise. The lights went up again as Blaine started to sing again, shaking his head slightly, looking down.
If it’s not like the movies,
That’s how it should be.
When he’s the one,
He’ll come undone,
And my world will stop spinning,
And that’s just the beginning.
Blaine leapt up and strode forward to the centre of the stage again, singing out to the crowd, hands moving expressively.
‘Cause I know you’re out there,
And you’re, you’re looking for me.
It’s a crazy idea that you were made,
Perfectly for me you’ll see.
He looked down, hands by his side, standing perfectly still, singing softly, and Kurt’s breath caught at his beauty. This rawness, it was certainly… becoming for him.
Just like the movies.
That’s how it will be.
Cinematic and dramatic
with the perfect ending.
His head shot up and he stared out into the, what he thought were, empty seats, and closed the song with the power that it called for, all the forte’s and diminuendo’s perfect.
It’s not like the movies,
But that’s how it will be.
When he’s the one,
You’ll come undone,
And your world will stop spinning,
And it’s just the beginning.
Blaine looked out into the “crowd” as every single boy’s last note hung in the air. Unless his eyes were deceiving him, he could have sworn he just saw a silent boy with perfect, coiffed hair sneaking out through the top door.

I actually like the idea of this, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next...
