Author's Notes: Okay so hopefully you enjoyed the last chapter, and here's another update.Thank you for reading! Don't forget to comment and let me know what you think :)

“Kurt! Get your ass up and get Candie ready for school!” Santana yelled from where she was sleeping on the sofa bed with Brittany.

The apartment was so tiny. It had one bedroom which Finchel had claimed. A living room where Brittany and Santana shared the sofa bed. A walk in closet with a cot for Candie, and the hallway with a blanket for Kurt. Not the ideal living space, but it would have to do.

“Awwwh is Candie ready for her first day of school?” Brittany asked excitedly.

“I’m so excited Aunt Brit!!!” Candie smiled skipping out into the hallway and stepping on Kurt in the process.

“Daddy needs a new room.” Kurt frowned folding his blanket.

“Daddy can get over it.” Santana laughed.

“Mommy can you pick out a pretty outfit for me to wear so I can be as beautiful as you?” Candie asked. “Then can Aunt Brit do my hair?” She added as an afterthought. “Can she also do my make up?” She giggled.

“No whore makeup for my niece.” Rachel said as she stepped out of her bedroom.

“Rach, language.” Kurt scolded playful, not that his daughter hadn’t heard worse in this household.

“Come on sweetie; let’s get you ready for school.” Santana said grabbing an outfit for her.

Kurt had to hand it to her, Candie was beautiful. She had Santana’s skin tone and build, but most of his facial structure and eyes, her hair was chestnut brown but had Santana’s wave and soft texture. She had inherited both of their personalities and could sing like a pro even at the age of four. She was perfect.

Candie came out of the bathroom in a peach oxford and denim skirt. Her hair was parted down the side in two neat French braids with white bows at the end. She even had on some subtle clear lip gloss. She put on her black flats and grabbed her back pack.

“Let’s go daddy! We’re going to be late!” She yelled as she stood by the door.

“Candie dear? We don’t have to leave for another hour and a half.” Kurt smiled. “We’re going to walk with Aunt Rachel and Mommy to the café and you can have a muffin and then we’ll head to school. Aunt Brit is coming too. We’re just gonna hang out there and then I’ll walk you to school. Okay?” Kurt asked.

“Okey dokey artichokey!” She giggled.

They all got ready and headed out. Rachel and Santana in their work uniform, Brit in a pair of yoga pants and a loose shit, and Kurt in a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a black v-neck.

Kurt, Brittany, and Candie sat at a table in the back where Candie could play while Rachel and Santana took their stations behind the counter. The café wasn’t crowded, only a few people in their sipping coffee and reading the paper.

“Daddy? Can I have that muffin now?” Candie asked sweetly.

“Sure thing darling, what kind?” He smiled grabbing his wallet and standing up.

“Blueberry!” She replied happily.

Kurt smiled and walked up to the counter when a guy turned the corner, crashed into him, and spilled his coffee all over him.

“Shit! Mother fucking fucker! Hot fucking! Shit.” Kurt cussed as the coffee drenched his shirt and burned his skin.

“Oh my God! I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you, I’m so sorry. Here let me help you clean that up. Are you okay? I’m so sorry.” The man, the gorgeous man, said grabbing napkins.

“Kurt what the fuck did you do? Clean it up you’re gonna get me fired! Do you want us to live on the streets?” Santana yelled grabbing napkins.

“Sorry San, I’ll clean it up.” Kurt laughed at her outburst.

“No, it wasn’t his fault. I ran into him. I’m so sorry.” The man explained bending down to clean up the mess.

“Whatever. Just clean it up so I don’t have to.” Santana smiled.

“I’m so sorry.” The man said looking up to meet Kurt’s eyes. And damn if he wasn’t the most breathtakingly handsome guy he’d ever seen. And his eyes, his honey colored eyes. He was truly remarkable. With his curly black hair, and olive skin tone. He was gorgeous.

“It’s fine.” Kurt smiled. “Accidents happen.” Kurt shrugged. God knows he was used to accidents.

“Kurt? You okay?” Rachel asked walking over. “This guy giving you trouble? Want me to beat him up? I got your back.” Rachel said getting into a fighting stance.

“Woah. Easy there tiger. I’m fine. It was an accident. Stop being a crazy person and go back to work.” Kurt laughed pushing her away.

“Damn.” Rachel says after giving the guy a once over.

“And stop flirting, you’re engaged remember?” Kurt laughed.

“Was not flirting. Don’t tell Finn.” Rachel pouted before walking away.

“I feel like I should be the one apologizing for them.” Kurt laughed.

“No it’s fine. Again I’m so sorry for that. Kurt is it? I’m Blaine. Blaine Anderson.” The guy-Blaine-said extending his hand.

“Nice to meet you. Kurt Hummel.” Kurt smiled.

“Well Kurt, to make it up to you do you think maybe you’d wanna grab dinner tonight?” Blaine asked shyly.

“Ummm.” Kurt thought for a minute.

“He’d love to!” Rachel and Santana answered for him simultaneously.

“Um okay.” Kurt answered. “Sure why not.” Kurt smiled.

“Bout time. You haven’t gotten laid in months, least now you can stop bitching.” Santana so eloquently added.

“San! You can’t just say things!” Kurt yelled. “You don’t even know if he’s gay!” Kurt added.

“Well I am. And I’d love to go on a date with you tonight. Can I pick you up around six?” Blaine smiled.

“Sure.” Kurt smiled. “Um here’s my number. Just let me know details and stuff and I’ll text you my address.” Kurt said writing his number on the back of a napkin.

“Thank you so much. I have to get to work now, but I’ll talk to you later. Oh right I’m going to need another coffee.” He laughed walking back over to the register.

“Big day ahead?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah, I start my first teaching job today. I’m really nervous.” Blaine laughed.

“You’re a teacher?” Rachel asked. “You look so young!” She added.

“Well I’m twenty five. But I just got out of college and it’s my first job so I’m really nervous.” Blaine said paying for his coffee.

“I’ll see you later Kurt.” He winked and was on his way back.

Kurt starred dreamily after the gorgeous man until a little girl grabbed at his leg “Can I have my muffin or not?”

Oh right, that’s why he hasn’t been on a date in so long.

“Of course sweetheart.” He said with a smile.
