“Thanks Kurt. I love you. I’m going to go help Brits put her down.” Santana said hugging Kurt once more before walking away.

“I love you too San. I’ll be in soon-ish.” He said before looking back to where Blaine was.

“Hey.” Kurt said moving towards him.

“Hey.” Blaine repeated him and they looked into each other’s eyes.

They locked eyes for awhile. Sharing this moment of intimacy. Everything was calm as if the past hectic hours hadn’t just happened.

It was simple, this was simple. Just standing here, a moment in time looking into each other’s eyes. This was simple. They were together and that was that.

But in reality it was anything but simple. Kurt looked down suddenly.

What was he doing? He was quickly falling faster and faster for Blaine. Things had been moving so quickly, and at first that was perfect. But things aren’t simple.

Hell, tonight taught him that. Things would never be simple.

But maybe…

Maybe Blaine would be okay with things not being simple…

Maybe he enjoyed being a part of this mess…

Maybe.

“Hey.” Blaine said lifting Kurt’s chin so Kurt would meet his eyes. “Everything’s okay.” Blaine said.

And suddenly it was. Kurt found himself being wrapped in a loving embrace and he let himself enjoy it.

Things weren’t simple, but they could work it out.

“Do you want to stay here tonight?” Kurt asked and Blaine.

“I would love to.” Blaine smiled punctuating his sentence with a reaffirming kiss.

“Awesome.” Kurt smiled kissing him back.

“This is gonna sound lame, but do you wanna like cuddle and talk?” Blaine asked rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

“Oh my god, you are adorable.” Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine’s forehead. “Yes, I’d really like that.”

Blaine blushed and Kurt led him down the hall grabbing a pair of sweatpants for each of them to change into and get comfy.

“I don’t know how you do it.” Blaine smiled looking lovingly at Kurt.

“Do what?” Kurt asked lying down on his floor bed and extending his arms for Blaine to join him.

“Do everything. You’re just amazing Kurt. I’ve never met someone as strong as you. You’re a loving and devoted father. You’ve been through so much shit, but somehow you manage to come out on top. I don’t know if I’d be able to do it on my own. I admire you Kurt.” Blaine smiled resting his head on Kurt’s chest.

“It’s not the life I imagined for myself, but I’d never change it.” Kurt smiled brightly.

“You are incredible.” Blaine chuckled sweetly kissing Kurt’s soft lips. “Truly incredible.”

“I know my whole life must seem crazy to you, but I’m glad you’re giving me a chance. I never expected anyone would put up with all this, but you seem to actually enjoy the horror show that is my life.” Kurt laughed brightly.

“I do enjoy it.  And you need to give yourself some credit Kurt, you’re worth it. Of course I’d give you a chance.” Blaine said caressing Kurt’s face.

“Just, thank you.” Kurt smiled a loss for words.

How does one express the gratitude for something like this? This was completely crazy!

“Hey Kurt?” Blaine asked softly.

“Yeah babe?” Kurt responded and Blaine smiled at the pet name.

“We’ve only known each other for twenty four hours, but I just want you to know I’m not going to leave. I see myself falling for you. I think you may be the one. And as cliché as it sounds I’m here for the long haul. And as long as you’ll have me I want to be a part of your life.” Blaine spoke softly and Kurt could feel the tears pooling behind his eyes.

“Oh Blaine, I’m so glad you feel that way. I do want you to be a part of my life. I don’t want us to rush things or scare you off or anything like that, but I do see myself spending the foreseeable future here with you in my arms.” Kurt smiled tightening his grip around Blaine and kissing him tenderly.

“Fuck, Kurt. I think I love you.” Blaine smiled.

“Eloquently put Mr. Anderson.” Kurt teased. “I think I love you too Blaine.” Kurt smiled.

“Elevator?” Blaine asked.

“Elevator.” Kurt confirmed and stood up quickly pulling an eager Blaine along with him.
