Since they had obtained enough members to compete, assuming Q choses to join, Rachel counted the night as a success and ushered everyone out of the house in the morning.

“It’s not even your house how did you manage to kick everyone out before ten?” Sam asked groggily, his hair a mess and dried droll making the corners of his mouth crusty. He must have fallen asleep after he got the paper plates and just woken up in time to watch Rachel do what she does best, boss people around.

“Unlike the skanks they listen to authority.” She countered and he snickered.

“You are not authority. Just because some people moderately tolerate you and listen to some of the things you say doesn’t make you some authoritative figure that everyone has to listen too.” Sam argued and Rachel eyed him angrily.

“Eat your stupid waffles and go back to the basement, Finn and I want to be alone.” Rachel remarked and Finn shrugged.

“They’re pancakes and Kurt made them for me.” Sam smiled at Kurt and me as we stood in the doorway watching the interaction.

“For Blaine actually.” Kurt remarked softly but he figured he’d let Sam have his moment.

“Rachel, look, there’s maybe one person in the room who likes you. Why don’t you just go home.” Kurt suggested and Rachel pouted.

“Shut it emo, no one likes you either. At least I have a boyfriend who loves me.” Rachel laughed and Kurt crossed his arms across his chest.

“I have a boyfriend who loves me.” Kurt said with a bitchy expression.

“Oh really? Who?” Rachel challenged.

“Me.”  Sam and I said simultaneously.

“Wait you?” We both questioned.

“No, it’s me.” We said in sync.

“You love Kurt?” Pretty much everyone in the room asked and at this point I had no idea who they were talking to.
